Rebranding your show is exciting — just make sure your website catches up. Here's everything to update in Podpage after a name change.
Update your podcast name and website address
- In your dashboard, go to Podcast Info → Name / Description.
- Update the Podcast Name field.
- If you don't use a custom domain, you can also update Website Address — the part of your podpage.com link that identifies your site.
- Click Save.
Also change the name with your podcast host so your RSS feed and directories like Apple Podcasts and Spotify match your website.
Update your custom domain
If the rebrand comes with a new domain name:
- Go to Settings → Custom Domain.
- Enter your new domain. Podpage shows you the DNS settings to configure at your registrar.
- Allow time for the change — DNS updates can take 2 to 24 hours to take effect everywhere.
See Moving your Podpage from one domain to another for the full walkthrough.
Check your SEO settings
- Go to Search Optimization → SEO Settings.
- Check the SEO Title Tag field — if it contains your old podcast name, update it.
- Click Save.
Update your descriptions
Finally, review your podcast description, about page, and any custom pages for mentions of the old name — and do the same in podcast directories and on your social profiles. Consistency helps listeners (and search engines) follow you to the new name.
Tip: If you moved to a new domain, keep your search rankings intact with 301 redirects — see How to keep your existing SEO when moving to Podpage.
