How do I clear cache on my browser?

If your website looks out of date — for example, you changed your design but still see the old version — your browser is probably showing a cached copy of the page. Clearing the cache forces it to load the latest version.

First, try a hard refresh on the page: press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac; Option + Cmd + R in Safari). If that doesn't help, clear the cache using the steps below.

Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Go to Safari → Settings (called Preferences on older versions of macOS), then click Privacy.
  3. Click Manage Website Data…
  4. Select the websites to clear, then click Remove — or click Remove All.
  5. Click Remove Now to confirm.

You can also clear everything at once: go to Safari → Clear History and Website Data, choose a time range, and click Clear History.

Chrome, Firefox, and Edge

Each browser publishes up-to-date instructions:

Tip: If your site still looks wrong after clearing the cache, try a different browser or device. If the problem follows you, contact Podpage support with the page URL and what you're seeing.
