This guide covers the common situations where you'd want an episode off your Podpage website — and what to do in each one.
How to delete an episode
- In your dashboard, go to Episodes → All Episodes and open the episode.
- Scroll to the bottom of the edit page and click the delete link.
Keep in mind: if the episode is still in your RSS feed, Podpage will re-import it the next time your feed is checked.
Duplicate episodes
If the same episode shows up twice:
- Delete both duplicates using the steps above.
- On Episodes → All Episodes, click Check for New Episodes so the episode is imported once.
If duplicates come back, your RSS feed itself probably contains the episode twice. Ask your podcast host to remove the duplicate from the feed, then repeat the steps above.
The episode was removed from my feed but is still on my website
Podpage doesn't automatically remove episodes that disappear from your RSS feed — just delete the episode using the steps above and it comes off your website immediately.
Can I hide an episode that's still in my feed?
Not currently. If an episode is in your RSS feed, it will be imported to your Podpage website — deleting it only works until the next feed check. To keep an episode off your website permanently, remove it from your feed at your podcast host first, then delete it on Podpage.
Tip: If an episode is showing outdated information rather than needing removal, click Check for New Episodes to refresh it from your feed instead.
