When you use Podpage's built-in audio player, any timestamps in your episode chapters or transcripts automatically become clickable links. When a listener clicks one, the player jumps straight to that moment in the episode.
Why you need the Podpage audio player
Clickable timestamps only work with the Podpage audio player. If you're using your podcast host's embedded player, Podpage can't control playback inside it — so timestamps appear as plain text instead of clickable links.
Switching to the Podpage audio player unlocks this feature for every episode on your site.
How to turn it on
- In your dashboard, go to Episodes → Episode Settings.
- Turn on Use Podpage's Audio Player.
- Save your changes.
Once enabled, any timestamps in your chapters and transcripts automatically become clickable and advance the player to the right spot.
Tip: If your chapters or transcripts already include timestamps, they become clickable immediately after you switch players — no extra steps needed. Learn more about the built-in Podpage media player.
