Adding Plausible Analytics to your Podpage

Plausible is a private, GDPR-compliant alternative to Google Analytics. Podpage adds the tracking code for you — you just flip a switch and connect your domain in Plausible.

Note: Plausible only works if you have a custom domain connected to your Podpage.

How to connect Plausible

  1. In your dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations and click the Connect button for Plausible.
  2. Turn on the Activate Plausible Analytics switch and click Save. This adds the tracking code to your site.
  3. Create an account at plausible.io.
  4. In Plausible, add your domain — enter it without www or a subdomain.
  5. Click Install Plausible.

Adding your domain to your Plausible account

Plausible ties its tracking to your domain name — that's why a custom domain is required.

Confirming it works

Adjust any options you like, then click the Verify your installation button. Plausible will tell you whether it's receiving data.

Note: You do not need to paste Plausible's snippet into Podpage — Podpage already added it when you turned on the switch.
