We get asked this almost every day — will Podpage sponsor my podcast, or trade a free Pro subscription for promotion? Unfortunately, the answer is no.
We actually sponsored members' podcasts in our first year, and we had to stop. As a small business, our math is simple: a sponsorship has to bring in more than it costs. Most podcast sponsorships send very little traffic to Podpage unless the show is aimed squarely at podcasters — no matter how many downloads it gets.
If you think your audience is full of podcasters, there's a better route: join our affiliate program, tell your audience about Podpage, and get paid for every signup. If the results look great, we're happy to talk about a more formal partnership.
