I love this topic. I really enjoy hearing about old Hollywood, especially the background and childhoods of the actors. Erin is a wonderful narrator. Keep them coming!!!!

I really like this podcast. I love classic Hollywood, the movies, the stars, the whole bygone era. Erin does a great job with the research and presentation and keeps to the facts rather than interjecting a lot of personal opinions like some other podcasters do. If you love old time Hollywood then you’ll really love this podcast! Keep up the great work Erin!!

I’m a big fan of old, classic movies and nostalgia in general and this is a perfect listen!!! Love the host… sweet voice and very informative!! Very entertaining and interesting! Now I’ll be going back and rewatching a lot of movies now that I have so much background information. The episodes aren’t too long and are easy to listen to while commuting!!

Well researched informative entertaining and one of the best podcasts on classic Hollywood.

I just listened to the young lady's podcast on Rita Hayworth. It was very informative and touching to the heart. It showed me the dysfunctionality amongst the people that are worshipped by society. The young lady spoke clearly with the voice of an angel. I was impressed with her empathy towards Rita and how at the end of the podcast she gave resource numbers for those that need counselling.

Erin Carlson's podcasts are very well done. They are thoroughly researched, she is organized in her delivery of information, it is very entertaining. She is very professional and I also learn a lot of interesting facts whenever I listen to Erin. While others might discuss only sensational aspects of the golden stars, Erin contributes facts that really give a deeper understanding of the celebrity and the challenges they endured to reach the successes in their careers. Please keep covering the starts we have lost and love!

This is a well intentioned and well researched podcast. There’s clearly a lot of care and effort that goes into each episode and that’s felt! I think that the episodes would benefit from some music to keep the listener’s attention as the story unfolds.

Dashing and handsome, it’s hard to idolize a man who basically was a predator.

I have really enjoyed the details Erin adds to the stories of Golden Age and Silent Film stars. Her insight into childhood development and how that part of their lives can be affected is a great and new perspective.

My favorite , on top of being entertaining I think the preschool teacher perspective adds valuable insight

Please discuss Tyrone Power, who was an underrated actor. Also, you don’t have to apologize for a non-Asian actress being cast as an Asian. This happened in 1936; it’s not happening anymore. Can we just listen to a podcast that talks about the performers and the films without apologizing every 10 minutes? It really takes away from the value of these podcasts. I love STARS OF THE GOLDEN AGE and wait for each new episode! Erin does excellent research, showing us the sad and imperfect private lives so many of them had. “Hollywood” was so different in that era. Thank you Erin for sharing your love of those times with us! I listen to a few different podcasts, yours is a favorite!
