Scott Hamilton has been a triple-threat journalist for the past 20 years. That includes as the Winston-Salem Journal’s sports columnist; senior writer at Golfweek magazine; ACC beat writer for the NY Times Newspaper group.
Scott has served as one of 61 AP Top 25 football voters and the 16-person AP All-American panel, as well as a voter for the Heisman Trophy and Biletnikoff Award.
He’s a regular guest on SEC Network’s “The Paul Finebaum Show,” and has made multiple appearances on ESPN’s “Outside the Lines,” “SportsCentury,” “30 for 30” and “The Life.” Scott has also appeared on Golf Channel’s “Top 10,” “19th Hole,” “Golf Central” and “Morning Drive” along with FOX Sports’ “NASCAR Race Hub.”
The Scott Hamilton Show focuses primarily on college sports, NFL and NASCAR, with golf, baseball, etc., tackled when relevant. There’s a heavy emphasis on the SEC and ACC, specifically South Carolina and Clemson, along with national topics.
Each show features guests ranging from current and former athletes to coaches, broadcasters and celebrities. Past guests include the likes of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Chipper Jones, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and Jeff Gordon; coaching legends Steve Spurrier, Roy Williams and Jim Boeheim; and many more.
