Speaker A

Let's go to the lightning round.

Speaker A

Chris.

Speaker A

According to a Grocery dive article on 2026 grocery trends and Nestle USA Vice President of Commercial Excellence.

Speaker A

Weird.

Speaker A

Is winning in the grocery aisle.

Speaker A

So, Chris, I want to know what's the wackiest new product that you've tried at the grocery store as of late?

Speaker B

Oh, and that's easy.

Speaker B

Banana water.

Speaker B

Yeah, banana water.

Speaker B

I'm a big fan of the banana in general, and I like banana Shakespeare.

Speaker B

Like a good, just banana.

Speaker B

I very.

Speaker B

I very, you know, very specific requirements of my bananas.

Speaker B

You know, they.

Speaker B

I like them more on the greenish side than the, like, you know, the other side of it, which I think probably most people do.

Speaker B

But, yeah, big fan of the banana.

Speaker B

And I tried some banana water.

Speaker B

It's kind of like a take on coconut water.

Speaker B

It's pretty good, pretty tasty.

Speaker B

Okay.

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker A

So it's in a container, like coconut water.

Speaker A

So it's like, got the, like, carbonated.

Speaker A

Interesting.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

Oh, it's carbonated?

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

Carbonated?

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker B

Oh, yeah.

Speaker B

It's like a can of coconut water you open up.

Speaker B

Carbonated.

Speaker B

Yeah, it's good.

Speaker B

It's a Jerry's in the.

Speaker B

In the freezer case next to the.

Speaker A

So there's bubbles in it, like carbonated.

Speaker A

Like there.

Speaker A

Like there's bubbles in the water?

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

I mean, it tastes like an Olipop or something like that.

Speaker B

Yeah, I know.

Speaker B

Banana water.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

I've never had carbonated coconut water before, so.

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker B

Yeah, it's right next to the.

Speaker B

The food service area in our local grocery store.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

Try it out.

Speaker B

Okay.

Speaker B

It's worth a dabble.

Speaker B

And it's worth a dabble in that banana.

Speaker B

All right.

Speaker B

The creator of Dilbert, Scott Adams, unfortunately died this week.

Speaker B

How should we pay homage?

Speaker A

I. I'm going to put this back on you.

Speaker A

I don't really know.

Speaker A

I mean, I. I know the Dilbert cartoon, but I don't.

Speaker A

I've never really read it or followed it.

Speaker A

He's like an Office Space kind of character.

Speaker B

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker B

He was like.

Speaker B

Yeah, like a cartoon on office politics.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker A

How should we pay them?

Speaker A

What would you do?

Speaker B

If I was doing something, I think I'd maybe make a little caricature drawing of myself because I think, you know, that's kind of how it originated, too.

Speaker B

So that would be my play.

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker A

You would make a caricature drawing of yourself to pay homage to Dilbert?

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker A

Okay, let's go on to question number three.

Speaker A

Dry January is back, and according to several news outlets, so are the sales of dirty sodas and sugary non alcoholic drinks.

Speaker A

In your mind, Chris, what do you think is worse?

Speaker A

A glass of wine or beer?

Speaker A

Like, worse for you?

Speaker A

Let's.

Speaker B

Oh, worse for you.

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker A

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A

What do you think is worse for you?

Speaker A

A glass of wine or beer or a Big gulp sized dirty soda?

Speaker A

Because I have, I take, I take issue with this significantly.

Speaker A

But what is your opinion?

Speaker B

Like, you take issue with the dirty soda trend?

Speaker B

Yeah, I mean, it's a dirty soda, right?

Speaker B

I mean, I mean, beer's not, I mean, beer, beer's definitely not good for you either.

Speaker B

But, you know, wine is debatably good for you.

Speaker B

It's potentially cardio protective.

Speaker B

Although people are coming against that now.

Speaker B

So, like, I think, you know, wine, wine, I think we could probably say is like relatively better for you than the other two.

Speaker A

But I, I don't know, I just, I just can't imagine like a 32 or 64 ounce Big Gulp sized dirty soda compared to a 6 ounce glass of wine.

Speaker A

Like, to me, it's like, I think.

Speaker B

Anything with high fructose corn syrup or one of the artificial and sweet sweeteners has to be at the bottom of that list.

Speaker B

I got to think.

Speaker B

But.

Speaker B

All right.

Speaker B

And Nikki, this is a good one.

Speaker B

Nikki Glazier hosted the Golden Globes again this past weekend.

Speaker B

Was her monologue better or worse than her monologue in 2025?

Speaker A

I was working all weekend, so I did not catch her monologue.

Speaker A

I did not catch the Golden Globes.

Speaker A

I still have to watch it.

Speaker A

Um, but she was really, I mean, she did an outstanding job last year, so I can't, I can't imagine.

Speaker A

I mean, I don't know.

Speaker A

How do you top that?

Speaker A

Do people expect to, like, was it more expected?

Speaker A

Did you see it?

Speaker A

Like, what did, what was your thought on that?

Speaker B

Yeah, I actually, I thought, I thought she did as well, if not better, just because the bar was so high last year.

Speaker A

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker B

And she, she did, I thought, equally well.

Speaker B

And so, you know, I'd give her major kudos and props.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

And she, and she took Leo to task in a pretty fun way, so.
