Solar-coaster stories that are informative and a FUN RIDE!
I’m not in the solar industry, but I’ve wanted solar (too many trees to make it worthwhile in my hood), and I actually learned in these stories how I can ask my energy provider if that’s even an option! The stories are captivating, imaginative, heartwarming and informative. Tor “Solar Fred” Valenza writes and reads these with enthusiasm and in persona voices - great job! Sometimes I think I can hear him smiling as he reads! Well worth listening to fun stories while learning about solar! The future is bright (in our lifetimes anyway), so keep radiating this edutainment 🌞 and the La-La music is fun 🎶

One of my favorite podcasts!
This is one of those delightful surprises where you can’t imagine how a podcast about solar energy and related subjects could possibly be entertaining and educational. But in this case, after listening to the two seasons so far, I can say that it’s surpassed my expectations, and I am hooked. Each story is so creative, funny, and Tor Valenza tells each one with affable charm that captivates and draws you in Of course, some stories are more successful in that realm than others but overall, it’s an engaging and educational, solar, exploration, wrapped in great writing, and memorable characters Definitely makes me want to install solar panels, Which I’m not looking into. And given how timely the subject matter is this podcast should be reaching millions of ears. Well done!

Fun way to learn!!
The first season of Probably True Solar Stories was original and a great introduction to the solar industry in an entertaining way for a senior. This second season has been even more creative and this episode , Rufus, the Solar Guard Dog was especially delightful but suspenseful at the same time! As an octogenarian, reading facts and figures in a book can put one to sleep but listening to this podcast is such a fun way to learn! I appreciate the take aways he has at the end of each episode. You’ll love it!
In “Probably True Solar Stories,” Tor “Solar Fred” Valenza through characters, dogs, wine and drones, sometimes fantastical and other times, hitting too close to home, gets us to know a whole lot about the solar industry and more even about ourselves, practically always with wonderful humor. Expert at Solar and a gifted observer of us, Tor gives a human touch to Solar as it becomes increasingly important in our culture. Listen to the podcasts; you’ll be hooked. And google “probablytruesolar.com” and you’ll be rewarded even more!

Why Everyone's Gotta Listen to "Probably True Solar Stories"
In the last episode, “Murder by Solar Drone,” in “Probably True Solar Stories,” Tor “Solar Fred” Valenza is at his absolutely fascinating, creative best. There is always hilarity in the podcast series. Tor makes us laugh, feel good, feel worried and gets us emotionally involved in his solar story (which in this latter case is “Alfred Hitchcock-ian"}. Revel in “the Solar Heist” and “Max the dog and Max the man.” Find yourself appreciating Solar Fred "scolding" elderly Barbara who insists on “going solar” when she shouldn’t. And enjoy some episodes that are downright maudlin. I mean, the dilemma of the idealistic daughter of a father whose fortune was built on an industry that’s destroying our planet? Come on! … But hey, aren’t such dilemmas extremely relevant? When the heck are we going to wake up and stop “crying maudlin” and confront our neighbors with the Truth?! Along with much information in the podcasts about the solar industry, also so helpful are the “True Solar Takeaways” in Tor’s “Episode Notes.” Try reading the Takeaways. There’s a WHOLE LOT to the podcasts than meets the ear. If you haven’t, LISTEN to “Bob, the Dog and Solar Vineyard” and “A Declaration of … Solar Independence Day”! There isn’t always a “Hallmark happy ending.” But you won’t forget what Solar Fred is all about: Enlightening us to save the planet, with humor and emotion that win us over.

Great Show
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite podcasts, give it a listen if you are interested in Solar. This is a (mostly) lighthearted look at real renewable energy issues from a noted expert. Tor, keep up the great work!

PTSS made my day
We can all use a little extra creativity. Tor Valenza has creativity to spare. I'd put Probably True Solar Stories right up there with the 1980's-era Funk & Wagnalls series, Charlie Brown's 'Cyclopedia: Super Questions and Answers and Amazing Facts. Both score high on entertainment and educational value. Bravo!

Thank you for this!
Such a great podcast. Very informative and inspiring.

All the fun under the sun
If one more serious energy gabfest feels like too much, this is a fun break. Well-produced, imaginative, and lightly educational if you know nothing about solar. But listen for the stories first, solar second.

The most fun you’ll have listening to a podcast!
Are you solar-curious? Never think about solar at all? Already have solar? Whatever your situation, Probably True Solar Stories will inform and inspire you — while also being highly entertaining! Who knew solar stories could be so creative? This is one podcast you don’t want to miss.
