MY STORY
“Nowhere To Go But Up” was born from my own life experiences. I am a survivor of my own bad decisions, trauma, addiction, narcissism, toxicity, prison, self sabotage and the list goes on and on. One day after over 20 years of struggling with all of the symptoms of a being broken person, in 2010 I decided to change my story. For the past 11 years I have been on a personal development journey spawned from listening to podcasts and becoming aware of how I was showing up in my own life. Through listening to podcasts I was able to shift my mindset and and ultimately break out of the prison that my own behavior had locked me into.
This podcast was inspired by my own journey, and evolution through life, wanting to share my story as well as stories from regular people. The show has evolved as well as myself over the last 4 years since I started. You can expect to find comeback stories, my interests, & truth seeking here.
I am an addict on my own path of recovery. I spent 3 years in prison as a result from my addiction. I was addicted to meth for 18 years. 2010 quit that. Picked up pain killers for 7 years after that.
Now I'm a father, a union tradesman, a cultivator, and a podcaster! If you are looking for a podcast that you can grow with the host then you are in the right place. I often share my struggles and successes in the hopes to be an example to the folks that struggle just like me daily to do the right thing and be a good person.
