On this weeks episode Johnny is joined by the singer of the influential Swedish metal band In Flames, Anders Fridén! The two reminisce on the UK tour they did together with Disturbed, as well as some festival stages they’ve shared together, and Johnny shares his early fandom of Anders and the In Flames shows he went to. With In Flames about to embark on their US headlining tour, the two dive into the beginning of the “metalcore” scene and its influence in Southern Californian bands. As the conversation between two friends continues, Anders shares his love for electronic music, collecting keys and synths along the way. From Johnny seeing the band a couple times in his youth at the Pomona Glass House, to sharing the stage together, these two have a lot to discuss on the music life.
