In mid-April, Mom and I sat down to watch one of my husband's favorite movies, The 'Burbs. It's got everything we love about crazy people and everything we loathe about living in suburbia. Yes, I know we skipped number 20. 9 to 5 had some audio issues I've not yet managed to conquer. In the mean time, Mom and I watched Hot Fuzz. She came over with hardly any notes and was afraid she might not like this film. Turns out she loved it. We also talk about work, the US abolishing Day Light Saving's Time too fast, and just how cute Edgar Wright is! Mom was also grievously mauled by my kitten.

Mom and I sat down and watched Friday. We had planned on a different movie but decided this was a little more Mom's speed. Would you want to watch sex scenes, plural, with you mother?? I didn't think so. Our themed meal was awesome, but themed to the wrong Friday movie LOL. We had sweet ass burritos, but no extra hot sauce. Mom and I sat down before Valentine's Day to watch Wristcutters: A Love Story. She was apprehensive, but was along for the ride. We made our own Kamikaze pizzas talked about next episode's movie. Mom and I watched Hot Rod, a ridiculous movie she really enjoyed. We had hot dogs and french fries as our meal. We then talk about health, wealth, infrastructure and longevity. Jesus Christ! Mom and I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail. We had faux Rabbit Stew and hella technical difficulties. I spoiled several other movies and we bitched about our jobs. Just a normal show for us!

Mom and I sat down and watched The Usual Suspects. She had a good time trying to figure out who Keyser Soze was before the movie ended. No themed meal today, though. Just breakfast and the movie. She enjoyed it, so I call this one a win!
