2021 has been a very colourful  year in Aotearoa & it’s only right we finish things off with the perfect episode featuring our brown gifted & brainy Sister & community  Auckland Tamaki- Maungakiekie ward councillor - my friend  JOSEPHINE BARTLEY.
Jo expresses some beautiful words about QS,  her passion, her drive and love for what she does & why she chose to stay grounded in the community, her humble beginnings growing up in Mangere, the loss of her dear mother, getting dumped by an ex which lead her to doing stand up comedy, being bullied & threatened  & how she was able to build the courage to move on. She also clears up a lot of misconceptions that’s been said about her especially around her support for the vaccinations. I truly love her strengh and her rawness. I love how she can be herself as if we were sitting around a red table but the brown version and just let it all out. This talanoa was so empowering & encouraging.
That being said, it’s been a fantastic experience & a blessing having her share from a raw unfiltered unapologetic place which makes me feel so grateful to have created this platform because this is what it’s for. I’m grateful for every guest  on this podcast who has shared & poured so much from their heart which has been a blessing to hear,  I can’t wait for what’s on the menu in 2022 🙌🏾🙏🏽
