In episode 157 of the Futurized podcast, the topic is Energy System Transformation. Our guest is Carolina Torres, Executive Director of Energy Industry Transformation at Cognite. In this conversation with host Trond Arne Undheim (@trondau), they talk about how software can help transform the energy industry and needed sustainability breakthroughs.

Trond's takeaway

Digitizing heavy asset industries is a key challenge of our time, and it won't be easy. Luckily, there are ways to go about it, and software is key to the transition because it allows the industry to track its progress. We can only hope the analytics is used to speed up the process rather than do the minimum, our ecosystem depends on it. Perhaps we can do more than hoping, though, as we can each put pressure on our employers and governments and local city councils, make investment choices, and practice sustainability.
