Florida Beer Podcast - Episode 212: Building an Event at Ft. Myers Brewing

Events are nothing new to the craft beer industry. Some breweries, however, take things much bigger than the traditional weekly trivia nights. Some go all pout, creating yearly spectacles that draw in patrons that have eagerly anticipated the festivities.

One such brewery is Ft. Myers Brewing. Their yearly event portfolio spans such calendar-based events as Oktoberfest and Christmas, but also branches off into FMB-exclusives such as their now annual Grouperfest, centered around their Mosaic Grouper Pale Ale.

We spoke to Theresa Lavelle, Director of Marketing, during their Christmas in July event, to talk about how far in advance they begin to plan, their first events at FMB, and what their fans now come to expect from their events.
