On the night of January 31, 2026, 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie was dropped off at her home in the quiet Catalina Foothills outside Tucson, Arizona, after dinner with family. By the next morning, she had vanished. What followed was the stuff of nightmares: blood belonging to Nancy found inside and outside her home, security cameras tampered with and smashed, her pacemaker going offline around 2:30 a.m., and clear signs of a forced abduction.

Nancy—sharp, independent, a longtime churchgoer and mother of three, including Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie—left behind her phone, medication, and any ability to walk far on her own. She didn’t wander off. She was taken. In the days since, the case has gripped the nation. The family has made raw, emotional pleas, publicly stating they’re ready to pay any ransom to bring her home safely. Multiple ransom demands involving millions in cryptocurrency have surfaced. And on February 10, the FBI dropped a bombshell: chilling doorbell camera footage and photos of a masked, gloved, armed individual on Nancy’s porch in the dead of night—deliberately covering the lens with brush before the abduction.
