0:17 All right, folks, a look at what we're covering today. In Oklahoma, and Arby's manager is charged with felony poisoning after spitting in a customer's food and giving them herbies. In Louisiana, a pastor is arrested after a fight with his neighbor. But maybe there's more to this one. We're going to talk about it. Also in Louisiana, a man is rearrested in charge with first degree murder in the death of a missing fifteen year old. We've got all the up to the minute details on that. We're going to take a ride on the True Crime time machine this week and revisit the Loreina Bobbit case. I'm very familiar with that case.

0:58 That's right, And I'm pretty sure every man in America over the age of forty just crunch and I said that, and you taw. A woman is charged with attemptive murder after shooting your ex husband in an indoor playground in front of dozens of witnesses, including your own children. That's the right thing to do, right. We have an update on the Missing Planet fitness trainer that we brought you, I believe on the last episode. An eighty eight year old man has sentenced to life in prison for the murder and dismemberment of his third girlfriend, this after his two other girlfriends were killed. You're not going to believe this story? Oh wow, tell me, you know, just tell me that something is not going right before three people have to be murdered, Like, what are we doing here?

1:45 Well, we're going to talk about it. And we also got segments including lustful Lawbreakers, international indiscretions, all of that today on Crimewire Weekly. I am Jim Chapman. And I'm Kelly Jennings. All Right, Kelly, we have a lot of news to today, so I think we should just jump right into it and one of you know, the headlines not only locally but all over the country, are right, I would say about five minutes ten minutes from where we record in central Louisiana, and we're going to tell you about prominent Louisiana pastor Tony Spell, who was arrested this past Tuesday on a charge of second degree battery after authorities say he attacked a twenty year old man during a confrontation.

2:30 This was captured on surveillance video. Now, according to ebr Paaris Sheriff's Office. The incident a card around eleven am on June twenty third, near Hooper Road in Central close to the Life Tabernacle Church, where Spell serves as a pastor. Now, Spell is a longtime leader of the church. He was taken into custody and booked into the parish prison on one count of second degree battery, which is a felony. He was later released after posting bombs Now. This arrest stems from a physical altercation between Spell and the son of a neighbor with whom the pastor has had an ongoing feud with that has been going on since COVID y'all.

3:13 This victim, identified in reports as Scott Sherwin's son, was reportedly visiting his grandmother when this confrontation occurred. Now, according to the Sheriff's office, the victim told deputies he was in front of his home when he saw Spell across the street at the church. The young man said he yelled out fuck you to Spell and that was it. Okay, that was it. However, Spell then crossed the road onto the property and allegedly beat him. Now Spell's account of this is a little bit different. He says that the kid screamed across the road that he was going to rape his wife, rape his grandchildren and his daughter, and he was also going to kill them when Spell went out of town. And this is supposedly why Spell cross that road. According to Spell, Now, I saw the full surveillance video, and what I saw was the pastor crossing the street, this twenty year old kicking off his shoes and punching Spell three times before Spell even through the first punch, and then the pastor pretty much whipping this twenty year old's ass UFC style even apply to net crank y'all, which is a UFC move. So the church in this neighboring family, they've been involved in these disputes since at least twenty twenty. There's lawsuits over surveillance cameras and other neighborhood conflicts. And in a brief statement after his release, Spell toll reporters the truth will come out

4:44 in court now. Second degree battery in Louisiana carries a potential penalty of five years in prison and a fine up to two thousand dollars, and Spell this isn't his first time gaining national attention. During COVID nineteen, he was actually the first church in the state of Louisiana. I don't know if he was saying only one of the first one or what, but defied state gathering restrictions at his church. Uh, and he is not yet entered a plea in this case. The East Batman each pair of Sheriff's office confirmed the arrest, but they did say that the investigation is ongoing. Yeah, so if you're not from here, then uh, you probably we're more familiar. I think with that that there's ongoing bickering back and forth between that's been going on for a long time. This is gonna make salacious headlines because A one's you know, he's a pastor, and b he went over there and they're going to say that he he just beat up this guy. But we all have to we got to start from the from the jump here. And I don't claim to know every conversation or argument or dispute that's gone on between this pastor and these neighbors, but it's been pretty clear for a long time that the neighbors have been agitators of the church.

5:55 From what I understand, this is allegedly, Yeah, this is allegedly because obviously I was not there, but it seems to be the mumblings amongst people here that that's been going on for a long time. So they're framing this like, oh, this young guy is just visiting his grandmother, like this is some kind of wholesome thing. But if you watch the parts of the video that I've seen, he's out front, he's got his cell phone up, and he's obviously yelling something to get the attention of the pastor, and he is antagonizing this pastor. And it's real easy, I think, to jump right now and say, oh my god, what kind of pastor goes and throws a punch. Well, I'm gonna tell you the kind that does, the kind that's not playing behind his family anymore. And I'm more inclined to believe this pastor on what was yelled out, even if it was just fuck you. Why are you doing that?

6:42 Why are you doing that? Why are you out in your front yard holding up a cell phone trying to agitate someone and then acting all shocked and bothered in a wounded bird when a pastor comes over and whips your ass. You know, I think, should we hit one another? We all know you shouldn't do that, But then again, there's a limit that any man worth his salt is gonna take, and especially when it comes to his children, his grandchildren and his wife. And so again, good bad are indifferent. I am not mad at the pastor right now based on things that I have personally, you know, been told, heard and mumblings over the last few years. Yeah, and you know, I'll say this number one, if the allegations that Tommy Spell are saying are true in this in this kid was saying the things that he's said.

7:29 This kid was saying, anybody's gonna whip his ass. Yeah, anybody. He deserved an ass whipping. But you know what, I have seen video of past things that this the Sherwins have done. Uh, I've seen it on video. I've seen the father grabbing his nutsack for lack of a better term, when somebody was filming him. I've seen him flipping the bird when somebody was filming him. Uh. You know, the apple don't fall far from the tree, right, And so that doesn't surprise me the way this kid was acting. But if you're yelling those things, every action has a reaction. And Tony Spell, though he's a pastor, is also a human he's not God. Okay, he's trying to be godly, but every man has a limit. And this kid passed the limit with this pastor apparently, and this twenty year old and I call him a kid, he's twenty years and he's not a kid. He got his ass whip.

8:29 And that's exactly what you should expect when you tell someone allegedly that you're going to rape their wives and kids and kill them and things like that. Because I promise you across me like that, I'm probably gonna beat you up a little worse than Tony did. Tony showed you a little favor he gave. You know, I'm very very hard pressed to believe that all that guy yelled out was FU and that pastor came across that highway the way that he did. Yeah, I'm saying, I'm sorry, I'm not going to believe a twenty year old kid over the pastor. But even if he wasn't a pastor, like, even if it was just man to man, I have a very very hard time what was man to man? You know what I'm trying to say, Even if that title wasn't there, I'm very hard pressed when you watch the body language of how he came across that highway to believe that was in response to f you like, give me a break.

9:26 And you see these comments online and these people are saying things like, well, he's a pastor and they're not supposed to do that. The people are human, man ain't nobody out here. Jesus Christ. There's only one Jesus Christ. That's the only one above approach to the point that you can pretty much do anything to him and they can be who they are, and that's Jesus. And if you know the New Testament, then you know what I'm talking about. But Tommy Spell is not Jesus. And he'd be the first to say that. And he has a limit. Look, and this kid cross the limit. He probably need his ass. Sometimes you have to lay hands on people to pray for them. I got no problem with it.

10:07 I am mad either. To be honest with you, I think that you got what was coming to you. If that's the things you were saying. Yeah, and if you don't want to get your ass beat, shut up. Yeah, how's that? Put your flip flops back on? Kick this flip flops off like he's a UFC champion and took three swings on a nearly fifty year old man and he found out real quick, tore up real quick. Yeah all right, So we're gonna just go a little bit further down the road and we're gonna go to Baton Rouge. So just one perish over. But a fifty one year old man has been re arrested and charged with first degree murder in connection with the death of fifteen year old Jadarius Miniweather, who has been missing since early June. Maurice Palms was taken into custody on June twentieth after investigators executed multiple search warrants at his residence, and he was booked into the jail or the prison rather on one count of first degree murder now. Jadarius mini Weather was last seen in the early morning hours of June the fifth, and according to investigators, the teenager had gone to visit a sixteen year old girl that he knew, and police say a confrontation occurred between many Weather and Palms at that location. Surveillance video obtained during the investigation reportedly shows a violent altercation and subsequent efforts to dispose of evidence, including a child's bicycle, clothing, and other items. Investigators also reported finding bloodstains at the scene and evidence of blood being cleaned from a vehicle. So Palms initially told investigators that he left the area before

11:39 eleven pm on June fourth and did not leave his home the following morning, but police say that video evidence contradicted that statement. Now specifically, the warrant said quote, Detectives believe that many Weather was caught in a confrontation with Palms where he was killed. In the struggle, It's believed that Palms stashed the body and he threw away evidence, came back to Teve evidence and possibly the victim's body, and transported them elsewhere in his mentioned vehicle. He's charged with first degree murder due to the high amount of planning cover up and the fact that he was in the process of second degree cruelty to a juvenile during the beating when he is believed to have been killed. So on June thirteenth, he was arrested and charged on with indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer aided solicitation of a minor after investigators discovered messages between him and a sixteen year old girl, which is the same girl that Judarius was going to visit. So he posted a seventy five hundred dollars bond, and he was released before being rearrested the following week. Following the execution of search warrants at palms home on June twentieth and the twenty first, investigators say that they were able to recover additional evidence and Palms was subsequently charged with the first degree murder.

12:51 According to court documents, the charges based on allegations that the killing involved this planning and cover up and occurred during that cruelty to the juveni Now. During a press conference, Baton Rouge Police Chief TJ. Moore said that all evidence points to a violent attack that resulted in many Weather's death. As of this recording rate that we're doing right now, the victim's body has not been located. On June twenty second, the East Baton Rouge Parish Commissioner Corey Tozan denied bond for Palms during his first appearance, and the investigation remains active, with searches continuing in multiple locations, including areas in West Feliciana. Parish Mayor President said Edwards has urged the community to come forward with any information and said that authorities are determined to find the teenager. So anyone with information is asked to call crime stoppers. You know that number here, it's three four to four stop.

13:42 Two two vibe area code. So if you're out of the area and you're hearing this and you know something, heard something, say something, you can remain anonymous. And they do offer. I believe it's a ten thousand dollars reward for information leading to the conviction of someone completely anonymous. You out there and you're listening and you know something, noboddy If you don't, I must say this, somebody probably knows something. It's very rare in cases that people don't run their mouth. Now, in this situation, this guy didn't have a whole lot of time to run his mouth to a friend, or drink a little bit too much Old English eight ball or whatever and mouth off to a friend. Horrible, tragic situation. Heart goes out to the family of this of this kid. And I've had people ask me, you know, why does he he just why don't they make him tell where that body is? And I'm like, what, Unfortunately, in our law, you have the right to remain silent and nobody can force him to do that. Sadly, I'd love to hook him up to a you know, some sort of machine and torture and saying it as much as I hate to say that this guy's a you know, if he did these things is a piece of shit. And uh, but we live in a country where you can't that you have a right to remain silent. And Kelly made a good point earlier in that he's thinking, if they don't have a body, it's gonna be hard to convict me. Is that true or false?

15:08 Yeah, I mean that's that's common nobody no case, but they obviously have enough here that they believe that that a jury will come to the same conclusion that the child is dead. I mean, no one's heard from him, no one's seen him, and so he's got to be somewhere. And the last altercation was you beaten this child and the fact that he's already a predator allegedly right because he's he's contacting this teenage girl. He's you know, meeting up with this teenage girl. And I'm wondering if that girl maybe was either frustrated or aggravated with this guy and the contact, and so Jadarius. You know, well it's something taking up for her. Yeah, of that nature. It didn't get it doesn't give a whole lot of detail. And I understand that this is very early, yeah, and this investigation, and you certainly don't want to show your cards to a defense team or anything else. He's already lawyered up obviously because he's not talking. But I would I would say I have a good feeling they're gonna find this body. They're working very hard. I mean they're searching like thousands of acres.

16:12 I know United Cajun Navy has been helping a little bit with the search. Uh, this is Feliciana Parish where they're really digging into this west Falliciana and that is a big area with a lot of just open space. Right trees, and yeah, it's it's a difficult search. It's not like you're searching a field. This is a lot of woods and a lot of area that is not inhabited. And so it's gonna take it could possibly take a while. Yeah, because I mean even if you shot like heat flear or something. I mean, he's deceased, so it's not gonna eat you can't. He's buried. Yeah, And if he's buried, you're not gonna be able to find it. So I'm hoping maybe just maybe the vehicle that he used, maybe that had some type of system in it that could possibly maybe GP yes that maybe a cell phone. They could get into a generalized area of where he traveled to, is what I'm getting at, because he couldn't have gotten far based on the.

17:09 Crazy thing is he You know, according to police, he killed him and then left him wherever he was, and then went back and got him and then buried him, which is, uh, you usually don't see that. Usually by that time they're panicked to the point that they don't go back. So pretty pretty nervy. What that got it? I guess he figured I don't want to drive around with a body. I gotta go get what I need to bury him or whatever. And then, as horrible as a sound, I can't I'm talking about a kid right now, which is terrible. But yeah, I hope they find him. I hope they find him soon. His family, you know, his family needs this. We need to get him back. Right, All right, let's go to Oklahoma. Okay, and Kelly, do you like Arby's No? I do. I'm a fan of.

17:55 Yeah, but what's their tagline? I don't know. We have the mutes, and I don't like meat. Oh okay, you don't like meat. You don't like steak. I do, but not like I like like rare, like lunch. Meat, not really like groast beef and stuff like. Oh okayd of I didn't know that. You've never made me a sandwich either, so why would you? All right, well, we're gonna go to Arby's, one of one of my favorite places to eat, but maybe not anymore after a former manager at Arby's restaurant This Is in southeastern Oklahoma, has been charged with felony poisoning with intent to injure after police say surveillance video showed her spitting into a customer's food order. A mana Hendrix, who worked at the Broken Bow location, is accused of contaminating sandwiches ordered by a local bartender by the name of Janica Church. Church later claimed she had developed symptoms and was diagnosed with HSV DASH one and for those layman's out there, that is oral herpies as a result the investigation, Oh that's the gross. The investigation began after another Arby's employee reported that a worker had spit into a customer's meal shout out to that employee.

19:09 Yeah. Brooken Bow police obtained a search want for the restaurant's surveillance footage and reviewed video from that night. The footage showed Hendricks handling meat for a sandwich, lowering her head towards the food, and saliva visibly falling onto it. Authorities alleged Church had gone through the drive through late at night after finishing a bartending shift, and she told reporters it seemed like the order took a little bit longer than usual. Quote. I thought they were mad at me because they were about to close there. It is in the tight nique community of Brooke and Bow. Of course, this word spreads very quickly. Church said she had a little history with Hendrix. They had known each other, but nothing major. Her daughter reportedly heard Hendrix bragging to others about spitting in Church's food, a claim that helped the family connect the timeline to Church's subsequent diagnosis. Hendrix was contacted by police, interviewed, and has since been fired. As you would imagine from the restaurant, A warrant was issued for her arrest on felony charges for this this is serious.

20:14 The incident devastated the church family. Her mother in law described fear and the emotional toll of dealing with this, and several family members, including church, have filed a lawsuit against Hendricks, RBS and affiliated entities. So HSV one HERPS is a common virus typically spread through saliva or direct contact. So if you're making out with someone that has herpes, you're gonna get the herps. It can be transmitted even without visible symptoms. And I was surprised to learn there's no cure for it. I was surprised to learn that's a pretty old disease not to have a cure. Well, what they do is they have the antivirals. That's right, that's right. There are any viral medications that can help manage outbreaks. But you can still give it to other people. The criminal case remains penning, and Hendricks faces a serious felony charge of poisoning with intent to injure.

21:06 No additional infections among family members who shared the food have been publicly reported. Yeah, but you know that does she said mother in law, So she must have a husband or a spouse, and so think about how this could be very problematic for him or her. Yeah, I mean it's it's a big deal. I mean, this is there is no cure for it. So now you know everybody's gonna get the herbs. Yeah it, well the kisses you or you spin on them. What a pr nightmare for RB's first of all. But second of all, I started thinking about this too, like what if there's little babies and she's been kissing all over these little babies? You know, you know, like this could this is much bigger then I think. It Initially would sound like someone spitting in your food is disgusting, and then you start the transmission of an incurable disease.

21:57 You crossed too many lines here, way too many lines here, and I think they should throw the absolute book at her. Well it's a felony, Yeah, it should be. It's a good start. It should be because you know, one of the main ways, like in prison, for example, food is very serious because that's how you can control a population. If if they could contaminate your food, then you know, you can mess a lot of people up. So like when I was in the prison, we would have to do medical screening before inmates were allowed to work in the prison because we didn't want them to have any communicable diseases that they could potentially pass on to the you know, to the population through the food. I mean, we take that much care, you know, behind bars to make sure people don't spread disease, and then this bitch is out here spitting in food and spreading disease. You're gross, You're wrong, and I hope they throw the book at you. A right, let's go to Utah. We got a thirty four year old Utah woman who has been charged with a tempted murder after allegedly shooting her ex husband in an indoor playground in front of their young children, amongst the other people that were there as well. Sarah Elias was arrested following the shooting of her ex husband, Matthew Daniel Elias at Kids Empire, which is an indoor playground. She's been charged with one count of attempted murder and four counts of committing domestic violence in the presence of a child.

23:14 Sarah and Matthew were married in twenty twenty and they divorced in twenty twenty four, which is mind blowing. Four years is all they were married and it has already gone to attempted murder like damn so. Court records show that They cited irreconcilable differences, say that fifteen times a Sarah was awarded primary custody of their two children. They're really young, they're three and five. So, according to investigators, Matthew had been attempting to exercise visitation rights for several months but had been denied access to the children. On May twenty second, Matthew Elias arrived at the playground to pick up his daughters, and, according to witnesses and statements from employees too, Sarah Elias appeared agitated. She took a phone call, and she paced back and forth while she was looking out of the windows, and provided staff with the children's information and address, stating it was quote in case something happens end quote. Employees reported that she smiled and said showtime before going outside to meet her ex husband.

24:14 The two then began arguing. Matthew Elias then entered the business and told the police that Sarah had threatened to shoot him and asked them to call police. Sarah Elias followed him inside and allegedly shot him twice at point blank range, striking him in the chest and the pelvis. An employee quickly took the children outside to safety. Matthew Olias was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Witnesses said Sarah Elias exited the building a few minutes later, appeared calm and approached the children, telling them, quote, daddy has issues end quote. Sarah was arrested at the scene. She had reportedly purchased the firearm using the shooting just one week earlier, and she was formally charged in district court on June third, and she is being held with outbond.

24:58 I mean, that's that is a crazy story. Not only you know, we cover a lot of stories where a woman shoots her ex husband and all that, and that's unfortunately not out of the ordinary in these days and times. But you do it not only pretty much in front of your kids, but you do it in front of everybody. Like this occurs in broad daylight at a indoor playground. It's like there's no limits anymore with what these people will do. She clearly was setting up. And then you're gonna walk in and say, daddy got an issue. Yeah, you are the issue. You are the issue, daddy. Yes, Well then, but when she first goes in there and tells them the children's address and information, that is that was very odd to me, But it just really plays into the fact that I think she knew she would be arrested. She plans on putting up a self defense claim and which obviously it's not. But she's gonna claim abuse for some bullshit. We can wait till that play.

26:00 But she wanted her kids to be taken. You know, I guess safely somewhere. But you were willing to pull a gun and just shoot into a building full of assuming, full of other children, without any care of where those bullets went, if you missed, if you would have hit somebody else. Your nuts? Yeah, your nuts. And hey, I'm glad he divorced you because clearly you're not good material here for a wife. Uh, I would say not, there's probably that's probably the reason they divorced her. She's crazy, she's batshit crazy. Your honor respectfully. All right, let's go to South Carolina, and I've got an update on the South Carolina fitness trainer Elena Moore.

26:42 Her body has now been found. In our last episode, we told you about her vanishing after leaving a Planet Fitness Jim in Lexington, South Carolina. This was on June eleventh of twenty twenty six. Her body has been identified and found, but the cause of death remains undetermined. Following a preliminary autopsy that found no signs of traumatic injury, Moore's remains were discovered June seventeenth in a heavily wooded area. This was roughly about a mile to two miles from the gym she had been reported missing from the day she was last seen her husband. I'll get to that in a minute. First, let me tell you more. A personal trainer at Wolf's Fitness regularly visited the Planet Fitness signed in at that gym at six point forty on Thursday, June eleventh, and then it showed her walking away from the facility, which I found very strange, toward a wooded area behind a nearby Low's Improvement store. Additional footage captured her walking through the parking lot of the Publix about three hours later. Now her husband, Brandon Slice, reported her missing on June twelfth. The next day, an extent of ground search involved Lexington Bleaze fire personnel and volunteers followed, and authorities focused on a wooded area. They kind of did a perimeter, if you will, and on June seventeenth, approximately two forty eight pm, searchers did locate a body

28:15 wearing clothing that match More's description. The Lexington County Corner's Office positively identified the body as More, and the remains were transferred to a medical university for an autopsy. The coroner released preliminary findings on June twenty second, stating the autopsy did not identify an immediate cause of death. The examination revealed no bruising, no lacerations, no gunshot wounds, no stab wounds, no blunt force trauma, no strangulation, no external injuries whatsoever. Further testing, including toxicology screening and a review of her medical records, is ongoing. In a full cause of death, the determination is pending, but of course that takes additional time. The Lexington Police Department requested that SLED, which if you've listened to the Murderall series that I put out, that's South Carolina's Law Enforcement Division. They assisted with that death investigation. As of this update, there are no arrests that have been made and no one has been charged. Moore's husband has not been made a person of interest or named one, but friends told media outlets that Moore had previously expressed a desire to leave her marriage.

29:34 One close friend named Sondra Campbell stated that during a meeting on May thirty first of twenty twenty six, Moore said she was scared for her life. Other friends described cycles in the relationship where Moore would talk about leaving but often stayed, saying she loved her husband when things were going well. Police have not converned any connection between these statements and the cause of death. More was described by those who knew as a dedicated fitness professional community member and she was just beautiful girl. That this is a really strange case, and I think there's a lot more to this that we're gonna find now. I think that toxicology is gonna tell us everything that we need to know. I think that fingers are being pointed with absolutely nothing to base that on. And I still am stuck on the fact that in the initial release when they were looking for her, the police said no foul play is suspected, and I'm I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but I really feel this right now, based on everything that I've heard, that there might have been possibly and again I have nothing. This is just an assumption. This is what people do, okay, and so don't take my word for this, but I think they know that something was going on with her.

30:48 I think that there might have been like a mental health issue or something going on, because for there to be no trauma to the body and she's found deceased in the woods. She walked there by herself into those woods. Feel like maybe she took something and she might have ended this her life out there. I'm hard pressed right now with anything that's been said. Plenty of people want to leave their marriage and it doesn't mean that their spouse was bad. I mean, we just read a story where they divorced with irreconcilable differences and then she goes and she shot him. You know, there's plenty of times where there's people that get divorces and there's nothing that it's just not compatible. It doesn't always mean something nefarious, and so, you know, I think it's kind of quick to point the finger at this husband, who police are continually saying, not a person of interest, not a person of interest.

31:40 Yeah, and lucky, you could be one hundred percent correct. Her friends are saying, you know, she was having conversations with them about fearing for her life, assumingly from her husband. That's not good. The only issue I have with this case in the beginning is right the police said there's no foul play suspected. I don't know how you can determine that without finding a body. Someone disappears. In all honesty, none of us have a crystal ball. You're not going to know if there's foul play until you know if there's foul play. Yeah, but if it make that connection and you don't have a body yet, I found the body. It's got nineteen stabling.

32:21 Yeah, but check this out. So I think the reason they say that, and that's why I keep going back to this. I think that there's going to be text messages, a recording, there's something that they have where something has led them to believe that she may have gone into I don't know this, but I feel in my gut that they said no foul play is suspected because maybe the husband when he called in, said, you know, my wife is missing. She told me yesterday that she might kill herself. Blah blah blah blah. And that's why they're saying no foul play is suspected. And then you find the body and guess what, there's no bruising there's no nothing to even indicate that someone hurt her, So it does seem to be following a path for me. I do think that it's making sense, but again there's a lot of what ifs, would it could have should us.

33:07 I think the toxicology and I think that there will be an electronic record of some sort that's gonna clear this up, and it's gonna just be it is what it is. That's certainly going to tell the tale. Yeah, I think we'll just have to wait. Time will tell, and toxicology can take weeks because when you don't know what you're testing for. Also, you know, you got to test for everything, and so that that can run a whole entire gammut. That's right, all right, but hey, either way, I do want to send out condolences to the family and to the husband and to her, her parents and everybody, because whatever the outcome is here, a lot of lives are affected, and you know, it's a tragedy. Whatever the outcome is, it's a tragedy. All right, We're going to do some international indiscretion. Oh is that? I oh, Jimmy with a sound effect. I love it. We're gonna go to the anointed Kingdom all the way across the pond.

33:57 A thirty year old man from Norfolk has it's been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly throwing a y'all you want to talk about a worst nightmare for a parent, here are my words right now. He is going to be charged because he allegedly threw a three year old boy into a crocodile enclosure at a zoo in Cambridgeshire, England. Wow. Like, of all the things you never want to hear, and we don't want to hear a lot, but to throw a baby in a crocodile enclosure. So the incident happened last week at Johnson's of old Hurst, which is a family run zoo near Huntington Done. They've got long compound names there all right in Huntington Done. According to police, the man, who had no connection to the child, which is even stranger, threw the toddler into the crocodile enclosure inside the zoo's tropical house. The boy suffered serious injuries from the fall, including a broken arm and pelvis, but he was not attacked by any of the animals. Child was rushed to Addenbrook's Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains in critical but stable condition and a dramatic rescue. Tracy Johnson, the wife of the zoo's owner, immediately jumped into the crocodile enclosure to save the boy. You want like that is stunning to me. You know she didn't think twice, jumped right in there to get that baby. Other members of the zoo family also helped pull the child to safety.

35:24 Emergency crews, including an air ambulance team, treated the toddler at the scene before transporting him to the hospital. Cambridge Shire Police save the suspect and the boy did not know each other. The man was arrested at the zoo and later released on bail. Poor kids still in the hospital and he's released after being deemed unfit for immediate interview due to learning disabilities. Detectives are continuing bro learning disability. Be damned you threw my child into a crocodile enclosure. Detectives are continuing to review the footage, the closed circuit television footage and speak with witnesses. Is the zoo's tropical house remains closed and the rest of their attraction is open as normal.

36:06 I mean one of the most bizarre cases I've read. And you know, as horrible as it would be if you knew the person and threw them and a child or adult and threw them in a crocodile enclosure, the fact that you didn't know the child is even more bizarre. This you know, you weren't trying to get back at the wife or something like that. This is a really strange situation. And you know, the learning disability thing really raised an eyebrow with me. Of course that's if you live in the United States. That's crazy. But it makes me wonder what type I mean, is this person very challenged to the point that it can't be their fault?

36:52 I know, you know what I'm saying, Like, it doesn't specify what the issue was with this person, so that may be where digging into. But yeah, I'd be curious, like if maybe they had some type of. You just let them go just because they have a learning disability. It seems like it's a lot more serious than that. Yeah, like maybe was the baby. I'm not blaming anything, but like was the did the person become agitated because of like crying or screaming or something, and just like chunk the kid. But either way, you had to know that chunking the kid was for a reason. Like you don't try to say you don't just randomly throw the kid. You were lashing out out of frustration or something, right, I mean, I'm assuming, but I'm. Looking serious disability. Right, So look, I'm not I'm not hateful, and I don't want to come across that way as a mother, though I don't care who you are. You throw my child in a crocodile enclosure.

37:37 I am sure, yeah you know anybody. But I'm looking at the picture too, which I'm sure you're putting up on the screen for them. But if this is the actual place where it happened in the photo, it's it's like a little wooden bridge and it does have it does have wiring and stuff on the bridge as you walk over the waterway. So the kid. But but if I don't how the kid broke his arm in his pelvis, if you only fell that's not that far into water. Yeah, maybe there was a maybe he hit the rock or something underneath. I don't know, but either way that is terrifying and they're gonna have to rethink this enclosure. Maybe put a cage over the walkway so people don't throw others into the water. That's that's wild.

38:19 Yeah, all right, we're gonna go to the true Crime time machine made you do Boopa dopoop thirty three years ago. Okay, June twenty third of nineteen ninety three, this occurred. It is one of the most infamous and bizarre domestic violence cases in modern American history. As I said at the beginning of this one, if you're forty year older, you cringed when I say the name Lorraina Bobbitt, Because in a quiet suburb of Manassas, Virginia, twenty four year old Loraina Bobbitt did something that made headlines around the world and scared the hell out of every mail in America when she cut off the penis of her husband, John Wayne Bobbitt. You can't beat that name for someone that gets their penis cut.

39:04 Off, John Wayne Bain Bobby. Now, thirty three years later, we're looking at what really happened that night, the explosive trial that followed, and where Lorena Gallo as she's known today is so. Lorena was an Ecuadorian immigrant. She moved to the United States years earlier, and she claimed in later testimony that her husband, John Wayne Bobbit, who was a former US Marine, had raped her. She said in the early morning hours, while John slept, Loraine went in the kitchen, grabbed a knife and cut off his penis. She then fled in the couple's car, eventually tossing the severed penis out of the window into a field. She then turned herself into police shortly after.

39:50 Now John was rushed to the hospital. He was in critical condition. In a now legendary medical procedure, they were actually able to reattach said penis using microsurgery techniques that were still relatively new as of this time. I would like to believe it was duct tape. I don't think so. I think it was a little better than that. It would be such a man story in duct tape. But you know, it took nine hours for this surgery and they were able to reattach it. And the amazing thing was they were even able to find it, like she just drove down the road and tossed it out a window. It was just flying through the air. Yeah, So it was everything that you would expect that Shirley followed this an absolute media circus. Loraine was charged with malicious wounding. Her defense team argued temporary insanity, and they cited years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at the ends of her husband, and it introduced to the world what would later be discussed in the context of battered woman's syndrome. Now, in January of nineteen ninety four, a jury found her not guilty by reason of insanity and she was committed to a mental health as facility for forty five days. In a separate trial, John Bobbitt was charged with marital sexual assault, and he was actually acquitted of that charge. So, as you may expect, Loraina divorces John this is in nineteen ninety five and legally returned to her maiden name of Loraina Gallows. She largely stayed out of the spotlight for years. She worked as

41:22 a cosmetologist and administrative assistant and later in real estate and today she still lives in Manassas, Virginia with her longtime partner of more than twenty years and her daughter. Now, if I was her longtime partner, I mean I'm sleep in one hour, and there's no doubt about that. Now. As far as John, after his trial, he went on to have a short lived porn career. He was actually a recurring guest on The Howard Stern Show, and he now lives in Saraset of Florida. In the years since, John has been arrested several times. He served jail time for violence against two different women, and his health as of today is in a major decline. But there you go thirty three years ago, and it doesn't seem like that long ago, because I remember that making the headline.

42:10 Oh yeah, and so get cut off his ding ding. So I've said this before, but I'm going to do it for any new listeners that we have. But when I taught criminal justice, I had to teach this case was part of it, and so she actually used a defense called the irresistible impulse defense, which if you're curious, you can do that. But I would always start this teaching with a little song. And so I'm going to sing it for the listeners. Oh God, don't do that, Please don't sing us a song. Go ahead, in. The bedroom, the Mighty Bedroom, John Bob, it sleeps to night in the kitchen, the Mighty Kitchen. Lorraina gets the night.

42:51 Oweni whack oweenie wackoe. Anyway, Okay, do we have any listeners left after that. That's golden anyway. Everybody just turning the whole show. No, the kids love it when I teach that, and they never forget it. I know, but I sing to the kid. They liked it anyway. But this case really was kind of an interesting one too because in the opening statements or not in the closing, actually don't remember, but her attorney gets up and she says, so I submit to you, is a life worth a penis? And I like fell out my chair when I was listening to the court trial on that one. So John would probably argue it was, but you know, it's whatever. Yeah, I mean, this was obviously a huge case and we don't want to labor the point, but you know, it was interesting during the case. His defense to the rape stuff was he said he would often fall asleep and while he was sleeping, he wouldn't know what he was doing and he would have sex. Whether bullshit. But they had some like doctors. That's why he was acquitted.

43:54 They actually had some doctors that said he suffered from that it was some sort of deep sleep syndrome where he would do things in a deep sleep and not even know what he was doing. I don't know, I don't sounds. Like bullshit to me. Yeah, but I mean there were several doctors that came to his defense and said he absolutely had that, and she was also I mean, if if I have that and I could kill somebody, I can't say, well, I was asleep, it's not my fault. You know. A guy did try to use that defense when he killed his wife before. But something I was going to say, though, is that his character was not it was not what you know, you would you would want of a spouse. I mean, he cheated, he did all sorts of things, and that it came to light in that trial. And I think that the jury really felt for Lorena, like literally felt for her because she was dealing with a lot. Should she have done what she Didna? But I don't think that she's a violent, you know, horrible woman. I mean, hell, she's been with this other partner twenty years and he still has his attachments, so we know that we know of he's still got the meet and two ve edge, so you know, yeah, whatever, and he abused more women and.

44:59 It was a tr right, and that's the thing. Later on in life the pattern continue. Bro So all right, let's go to New York and look, this might need to be one of our elderly What did we call that segment? Well, we already have a name for that segment. No, I can't remember. That's fine, all right, Well we'll roll with this one in New York. So eighty eight years old? What do you think you're going to be doing when you're eighty eight? Jim, tell me, I have no idea. Hopefully drinking coffee and sitting on the couch. I'll be lucky to be here. Okay. I know, we'll say if I am probably chilling. Okay, I know you probably don't think that eighty eight, you'll already have been paroled twice. And you certainly don't think that you will have already been paroled twice after killing previous girlfriends. Right, okay, but this guy was so An eighty eight year old Brooklyn man who was paroled twice after killing previous girlfriends has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder and dismemberment of a third woman.

45:57 Harvey Marcelin was convicted in May of twenty twenty six a first degree murder, evidence tampering and concealment of a human corpse in the twenty twenty two death of sixty eight year old Susan Leyden. On June tenth, the Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Danny Chun sentenced him to life. So according to prosecutors, surveillance video showed Leyden entering Marcelln's apartment. This was on February twenty seventh of twenty twenty two, and later that day Marcelyn was seen wheeling a shopping cart containing a large bag. Leyden's dismembered remains were discovered the following day. Investigators determined that Marcelyn had purchased an electric saw from a home depot in the days leading up to the discovery of the body. At trial, Marcelyn maintained his innocence. A witness testified that she went to the apartment to use drugs and saw Leyden's body inside.

46:45 Marcelyn's criminal history dates back decades, so in nineteen sixty three, he fatally shot a girlfriend. He was parolled in nineteen eighty four after telling the parole board he had no interest in pursuing relationships and planned to care for his elderly mother. After his release, Marcelyn killed another woman that he was living with her. Dismembered remains were found in Central Park. So he was convicted and returned to prison, and then in twenty nineteen, the parole board thought it fit to parole him a second time. During his parole hearing, he told the board that he and the victim had argued over rent and that he just went berserk. He expressed remorse, and he stated, I give you my word, I will never reoffend. And Sentencing Justice Danny Chunn addressed Marcelen's repeated pattern of violence. The judge stated that every time he had been released from prison, he killed somebody else.

47:35 Chun expressed serious doubt that Marcelyn would not reoffend if released again, regardless of his age, and so he will serve a life sentence for the murder of Susan Leyden. Yeah, I would express serious data as well. You can't make that shut up. Three different romanning interests than he killed, and he was released twice. What do you think is going to happen? Eighty eight years old? He never going to stop New York. And I know we have listeners in New York, and I love people and stuff like that, but things happen in New York that I just cannot understand. I cannot possibly understand. You dismembered people and you were paroled. And here's the crazy thing about this story that really got me twenty twenty two was when he got released the last time. So it was four years ago, so he was eighty four. You've been in jail twice at that point for killing spouses or romantic interest or whatever.

48:32 He managed to get another girlfriend at eighty four years old with that kind of record. She don't know, But I mean, you're eighty four and you've been in prison your whole life. How can she not know something? Well? And I mean this is in New York. It's to say, all you got to do is google his damn name. Yeah, well here's what's going to show up. I mean, we've got it. We've also got it. Crazy a victim, I mean a witness here saying that they went to the apartment to use drugs. So I think, I think we have a lifestyle here that's probably lacking. At eighty four. Judgment calls is what it is. That's wild. But either way, you don't deserve to be murdered. And I mean, eighty four ors old, three.

49:13 Women, three women are dead today because of this one man and a parole board decided not once, but twice to let him out. Shamed that it again. Yeah, he's got care for his elderly mother. Okay, well what about those other women. Shame on that parole board. Sorry, don't agree. All right, let's go into lustful lawbreakers. We're going to get a Lake Royal And this is in North Carolina. A Lake Royal police officer has been fired and arrested after allegedly engaging in sexual act activity inside his patrol car while on duty, and then discarding his body camera in a nearby lake to cover it up. Samuel Markham, who is an officer with the Lake Royal Police Department in Franklin County, He was arrested on multiple charges stemming from the incident. According to arrest warrants and investigators, Markham had sex with his girlfriend inside his patrol car while he was supposed to be on diddey. To hide the encounter, he allegedly threw his department issued body camera into Lake Royal.

50:34 He initially told supervisors the camera had been lost during an ice storm. However, upon questioning, he admitted to investigators he had discarded the device out of fear of disciplinary action after allowing his girlfriend into the patrol carp Yeah, you're probably gonna get in trouble. He faces the following charges, obstruction of justice, making false statements, injuring, injury to police property, and unbecoming of an officer. He has since been terminated from the police department. The investigation remains active and authorities haven't released any details about how the misconduct came to light, which is what I'm curious about, or whether the girlfriend faces any charge. I don't think the girlfriend would face any charges. She's not held to that same standard obviously, but uh, yeah, I guess she could get public indecency charge.

51:26 So yeah, he was on duty, he was on booty duty. But this is probably what happened. If I had to guess how they figured this out. So patrol car. And I know every agency is different. I'm just giving you know, suggestion here, but every agency I would assume has got some has a tracker in their vehicle so they can track movement. So like nine one one, for example, can look up at a screen and they can see the approximate, you know, location of their units whenever they're trying to dispatch out his closest and stuff like that. Also, if he was being radioed and he was not answering, that would also indicate that he was busy. And if he hadn't radioed in and said, hey, I'm gonna be busy for a minute, then that was an issue. So I would assume that that might have played a role in that that they could tell by lack of uh, you know, location or patrol movement and then maybe not answering radio or something, and that might have sparked the investigation. I mean, I've seen that before, I say.

52:25 Or someone saw him one of the two they could have. They could have. But the other issue too that people don't think about is that if if he tossed the body cam, anything that happened on that cam prior to that sex encounter when he threw it in the lake, that was evidence of you know, that could have been used in other cases and so that that proses another problem. Yeah, assuming it wasn't downloaded. I mean, I don't know what the process is there if if you your body camera gets turned in every night and it's automatically downloads or what, but you would think in these days and times and look someone out there with some money, may want to invent this if it's not already invented. But it should be like a bluetooth or like a cloud type thing that they have with security cameras at a building.

53:13 You know a lot of that stuff. There's not tapes anymore. When it records, it goes to a cloud. Should be the same with body cameras, so that way you can't destroy the evidence. You throw the body camera away, the recordings still in space. Or here's an idea, take the body cam off while you're busy. I mean, you shouldn't be doing that anyway, but would you leave it on? Yeah? I don't know, but all that could be avoided if you just uploated to a cloud. Yeah, or if you yeah, you. Know, when it's turned on, it automatically uplates just like a security camera. Same way. I mean, hey, someone do that. Yeah, elon quick, going to the moon fixed body cams. Okay, let's go to California. So, a California man who had previously been charged with stalking his estranged wife, including applying for a job at her workplace and installing multiple tracking devices on her car, is now facing murder charges after allegedly stabbing her to death.

54:09 Maria Parre. I almost rolled at Parra. I think it's Spanish, Para, How would you say that? However, you get all right, Maria Para. She was forty five years old. Okay, she was forty five years old. She was found with multiple stab wounds inside a San Jose home on June eleventh. Her estranged husband, Pablo Aguileramora, forty six, was also at the scene, suffering from self inflicted stab wounds. Para died from her injuries at a hospital. In her final moments, she was able, though, to identify Aguileamora as her attacker. The murder came after months of alleged harassment, and in March twenty twenty six, Aguileramora was charged with stalking after Para reported a pattern of disturbing behavior, including slashing the tires on her vehicle, applying for a job at her workplace, attaching three tracking devices to her car, ending her more than one hundred texts and voicemails showing up at her job.

55:04 I mean this guy was out of control. Para had obtained an emergency protective order against him. Despite the charges, Aguilera Moro was released pending further proceedings. So June eleventh, officers responded to a report of attack inside of a residence in San Jose. They found Para suffering from multiple stab wounds and Aguileramorro with self inflicted injuries. A witness who called nine to one one reported that Aguileramora threatened them during the incident as well. Para was rushed to a hospital where she did succumb to her injuries, and Aguileramura survived and was taken into custody. He is now being charged with the murder in addition to the prior stalking case. Yeah, and Yama's look at that record and you could see how that was going to end up.

55:49 What more could she do? Man? This guy even applied to the same job as her. Tell me how scary that would be. You have an ax that is going so far. And I don't know where she worked, but go fill out a job. And I'm sure she was like telling them people, man, don't. Hire him, Yeah, keep him away from it. But how crazy do you have to be to do things like that? This guy was not going to stop until she was killed. Sadly. Yeah, and she knew horrible she knew in her gut how scary this was. I can tell you in my own life. I had a ex boyfriend one time that I went to bed because I was tired, and when I woke up, my voicemail was full because he had left so many just horrible messages and things. I'm like, sleeping so crazy. Crazy is something that you cannot combat.

56:38 I would equate this to these fanatical terrorists you know that blow up buildings and stuff like that. You cannot you know that it's dangerous, but you can't predict what's going to happen, and there's no way to defend yourself from it. Twenty four to seven. There's nothing you can do. I mean, if someone wants to hurt you, they're going to hurt you. If they want to find you, they're going to find you. Yeah, and so this was a murder suicide, I would assume. But dangerous, so dangerous, that's scary, and I'm so sad for her. Yeah, all right, Well, any final thoughts because we're about to go into overtime. I don't know. I mean I'm going to say, I'm gonna say it is. And so we're giving you two true crime time because there was two pretty crazy things that occurred this week in history, in the world of crime, and I just couldn't pick. So I said, you know what, I'm going to tell you about Lorraine and Bobbit, and I'm going to tell you about this one. So on this day in not eighteen eighteen ninety seven, So we're going back one hundred and fifty years or so one hundred and thirty years. New Yorkers opened up their newspapers to one of the most shocking discoveries in the city's history. What began as a routine morning on the East River quickly became a national sensation even back then, when a dismemberment murder that exposed a deadly love triangle came to surface.

59:49 Y's right. Dismemberments back then were not as common, y'all. Nowadays it's every week we could cover one. But back then, about transporting the body. Back then, yeah, So, on the afternoon of June twenty sixth, eighteen ninety seven, a group of boys playing near a pier off East Eleventh Street in Manhattan, New York, spotted something flooding in the East River. It was wrapped in red oilcloth, and it was the upper half of a man's torso, headless, armless, blood the elbows, and cleanly severed at the waist. The discovery sent chills throughout the city, and over the next several days, more body parts would turn up, the lower half of the torso in a wooded area, and eventually other pieces in the river. Police and corners quickly determined this was no accident, no medical dissection.

1:00:42 Someone had deliberately and brtally dismembered a man and tried to scatter the evidence across New York. The victim was soon identified as William Gooden's suppe, a forty five year old German immigrant who worked as a rubber. A rubber, A rubber, How do you work? Which is a massur? Oh? Oh, I'm telling you, I know what you're thinking. At an upscale bath place. Like a bathhouse, he was, He was, okay, the. Masseuse at the bathhouse, but they called him a rubber rubber. No quit thinking, you're thinking condom, rubber like your arm got it, rub your shoulders he was a rubber.

1:01:28 I'm a rubber. That's what they called him back then. House So anyway, this was in an upscale bathhouse in the area, and he was a physically powerful man known for his strength and jim generally quiet demeanor. But behind that unassuming wife was a tangled and dangerous romanic entanglement. He had been living with Augustine Knack, a German born midwife in her early forties who also owned the building where he runted a room, so he got free rent. The relationship was past. The voltile Nac was also involved with Martin Thorn, a barber, and her other lover. So she had two lovers. She had a rubber and a barber.

1:02:09 Damn, I wonder what she looked like. She probably pretty attractive, had two men, one of them being a rubber. I mean, you can't You can't beat having a rubber as a husband or as a boyfriend. Right, The three were locked in a bitter love triangle that would end in murder. Why you keep doing that, y'all? If you're looking on the video, she's about to rub her neck. You're rubbing. I'm talking about a rubber and you're rubbing. Anyway, we'll get back to the story. On June twenty fifth of eighteen ninety seven, the day before the torso was found, Golden Seppe was lured to a small renting cottage in Queens. According to Thorn's later confession, Nac helped set up the trap.

1:02:51 When he arrived and went upstairs, Thorn was waiting behind the door. He shot him Golden Seppe in the back of the head. As the wounded man lay dying, Thorn and Knack dragged him. Dragged him into the bathroom, where Thorn used a straight razor to finish the job and methodically dismember the body in the bathtub with. A straight razor. Yepol, that's a lot of work. Oh yeah. They wrapped the body parts in red oilcloth and paper, waited some with plaster or paris, and dumped them in the East River and nearby woods. The couple then calmly took the ferry back to Manhattan, and one followed. Was one of the most sensational criminal investigations of the Gilded Age. New York's fiercely competitive newspapers, particularly the Yellow Press outlets owned by William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer turned the case into front page Gold Reporters swam swarmed the crime scenes, interviewed anyone related to the victim, and the case became known as the case of the Scattered Dutchman.

1:03:58 Dang. That's a legit name for yeah. That's when back in those days they name things legit, you know. By early July, police arrested both Augusta and Martin Thorn. Thorn eventually confessed to the shooting and dismemberment, though he tried to shift the blame onto Knack at different points. The trial was immediate media circus, and eventually Martin Thorne was convicted of first degree murder and was executed in the electric chair at sing Sing Prison. Augustin Knack, who cooperated and testified against Thorn, was allowed to plead guilty demandslaughter in January of eighteen ninety eight. She was sentenced to fifteen years in prison, but she only served roughly ninety ten years before being released. In more than one hundred and twenty five years, this case still resonates.

1:04:46 It offers a window into the immigrant life of nineteenth century New York And there you have it. Well, look, I looked at oil cloth because. I'm ekranty wild story. You know what that is? I didn't know it was cloth with oil on it. No, it's basically a heavy duty tablecloth. Like it's like rubbery like looking just like you know, like you go on a picnic, like with a thick plastic thing or whatever. But like I'm I know you've just said a bunch of horrible stuff, but I was stuck on how like eloquent the scattered Dutchman sounded. But I guess it sounds better than the cut up rubber. But like scattered Dutchman is so eloquent for a murder. But this is cool? Are you putting those on the screen for people?

1:05:27 Yeah, they've seen all that. You see the paper I'm showing her. Patreon members, the actual newspaper clipping that is her. She's not that pretty, I mean, bride, how dare you? Well, I'm saying, because you said she must have been good looking to get two men, Well, I mean she might have had other talents. Look back then, it's eighteen ninety seven, Kelly Jennings. All right, fine, she's gorgeous. I love it. She might be for them times. It's right after the Civil War. Okay, she didn't she brust her hair every day anyway, y'all can see what she's talking about on the page. Shean't worth getting cut up over all, right, Let's go to Florida dealing Florida rubber. Okay, the cut up rubber.

1:06:08 That's what I would have been my title, all right. A forty year old Walmart cashier has been arrested in charge with felony grand theft after deputies say she hit a critical receipt needed for an elderly man to claim his two thousand, seven hundred dollars Florida lottery winnings. That chap's my ass. You don't do anything to the old people, all right, to Mika Hall was taken into custody following an investigation into the incident that occurred at a Walmart. Investigator say the elderly victim, who was a regular customer, went to the store to redeem a winning Florida lottery ticket worth twenty seven hundred dollars because the prize exceeded the store's redemption limit. Hall scanned the ticket and provided instructions on how to claim the winnings at a lottery office.

1:06:48 She was supposed to give him the official validation receipt required to collect the prize. Instead, Surveillance video allegedly shows Hall folding the receipt and slipping it into the left pocket of her uniform vest before leaving work for the day. Hours later, the man returned to the store after realizing he did not have the receipt and could not claim the prize. Store management reviewed the security footage, which appeared to confirm Hall had pocketed the document. The manager then contacted the Sheriff's office. Deputies met with Hall this past Monday morning in the store security office, and she told investigators she became distracted by another customer after helping the lottery winner place the receipt in her pocket, intending to hand it to the manager later, but never did. Jelm she forgot. She forgot. Deputies accompanied Haul to her vehicle, where they recovered the winning lottery receipt. She was arrested on a felony grand theft charge and has since been fired from Walmart. The company confirmed authorities returned the receipt to the victim, who can now proceed with claiming his twenty seven hundred dollars in winnings.

1:07:47 All right, you're going to think I'm crazy here, but I actually believe her store. I do not. You could do nothing with just the receipt. He had the tickets. She didn't know that, Yes she did. She had to know that. Anybody would know. You can't just bring the receipt. You have to have the ticket. I wouldn't have known that. I could actually see someone getting busy and just putting it in their pocket with the intention of putting it wherever it goes later on. Okay, and then you get in your car and you realize, oh shit, I have this, You turn around, you walk back. Maybe she didn't realize she put it in her car she had in her pocket. No, they said they then went with her out to the car and they found it in her car, which means she took it out and put it in her car.

1:08:28 Okay, but we don't know when that occurred. That could have been. She could have found it hours later. I don't know. I mean, I just what can you do with it? She can't do nothing with just a receipt. Yeah, because they scan it, don't they keep the They keep the actual thing. And then you take that receipt and you go turn that in because that's the validation yeah, but. You have turned it in with the ticket. You can't just turn it into half yet, says it in the thing, he still had the ticket. All she had was the receipt for the ticket. So I mean you have to have both. Well, So it says he went to the store to redeem the winning ticket. She scanned the ticket and provided instructions on how to claim the winnings of the lotter.

1:09:09 She was supposed to give him the official validation receipt, which is required to collect the prize. So I don't think you need the ticket, You just need the receipt. I don't know. I don't mean I don't play it too. I don't either. We might be wrong, but either way, I'm not buying this. I think that you put it in your pocket because you knew, and then you brought it out to your car. You took it out, you knew that you took it, and you didn't bring it back in. I got a problem with it. Maybe, I'm mean, maybe you're right. I don't know. If somebody out there knows, let us know. She is a message and let us know if you got to have both or one. I would think you have to have both, Okay, maybe that's just me. I just don't know what I'm talking about. All Right, Let's go to the Dominican Republic via Kansas City, Okay, all right, and I'm going to tell you about a football player, football star actually for the Kansas City Chiefs that has a problem.

1:10:00 Okay. He's an NFL veteran, and he's named a person of interest in a homicide probe. And it all stems via this story. The skeletal remains of a twenty two year old woman missing since twenty twenty one were discovered buried in the backyard of a gated community property in the Northwest or Northern Resort Town that was previously owned by Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Michael Pennell Junior. Carly Roach was missing on went missing on September eleventh of twenty twenty one. Kind of a strange, yeah, date. Right, September eleventh, just gives you. Yeah. Her family last heard from her on September fifth of twenty twenty one, when she told her grandmother that she was visiting an athlete friend quote unquote in Portica Plata area. How you like that Spanish?

1:10:52 For you? You're so Spanish. And planned to return to the home return home the following Monday. In January of twenty twenty sixth, the new owner of the property, which Panell sold in twenty twenty five, discovered the remains during excavation work. The body was identified as Guzman Roaches Guzman Roach in March of twenty twenty six leading Dominican authorities to reup in the case and treated as a homicide. Panell has been named a person of interest and no charges as have now been filed against him because of death has not been released. An ESPN investigation published this week found that witnesses, including Roach's grandmother, told Dominican police in twenty twenty one that Banell had an ongoing romantic relationship with the victim. She said that Panell would send taxis to pick up her granddaughter when he visited the island, and the two spent time together.

1:11:47 It seemed like they were dating right. She positively identified Panel and photographs provided by investigators, saying there was zero doubt that was him. Police visited the property with family members days after the disappearance on reports of a strong odor emaciating from the backyard. Officers conducted a limited search, but attributed the smell to a dead animal or pest spring, reportedly done by Assasiates at the villa. The backyard was not fully excavated at that time. Witnesses told police that they were seen together departing Santo Domingo Airport in attaxing in January of twenty twenty one, and other statements placed the two together on multiple occasions. Panel He has strongly denied having any relationship with this person. In statements to reporters, he called the allegations fake news. So I think he's got some problems because not only does he have the grandmother saying, oh, yeah, that's him, but they find the body in the backyard of your house. Yeah at that.

1:12:53 Time, Yeah, yep. And I bet you a million bucks. Well, don't bet you any money. And this is just the thoughts here. But if she's from a different country and then she comes in to visit and then goes back and forth, he assumed that she would just be a missing person because she's not. You know, I'm trying to say, I don't think that he thought they would go any further. Yeah, you can bury her in your backyard because no one's looking for her. Yeah, they don't know we're affiliated. Maybe he thought, yeah, I mean he's sent in taxi. We're just guessing. Think about it. Though you're sending taxis to get her, you're not picking her up yourself, so you're distancing yourself from her. So you know that that's horrible. He's got problems. And you can't just say fake news to a body in your backyard. Fake news.

1:13:35 No, brother, I never had I never knew her, but her body's in my backyard and people are saying we knew each other, right. Sure, sure, we all believe you, buddy. Okay, we're gonna stay right here in Denham Springs and do a little swamp Shenanigans. How do you feel about that? I like it all right. So, a fifty year old man wanted on eighteen counts a vehicle burglary in Saint Tammany Parish was captured Monday evening in Denham Springs after fleeing from Livingston Paris deputies and leading them on a footchase near a local subdivision. Terence Washington was arrested on Rushing Road after deputies responded to reports of him being in the area near the Day's Inn along the days In Hotel Right here along Range Avenue. According to the Livingston Pair Sheriff's Office, Washington took off running across the interstate, which, if you know where we're at right here, that's that's a lot of lanes of high flying, high volume traffic. Wow in the middle.

1:14:33 Yeah, and with a garter. Yeah, you got to jump the garter. Okay, So he's running across the interstate. When deputies attempted to make contact with him, the pursuit ended near a subdivision off Rushing Road, where he was taken into custody. Livingston Paris Sheriff Jason Ard said Washington was wanted by the Sint Tamney Pearis Sheriff's office on eighteen counts of vehicle burglary, and he was also wanted locally by the sheriff's office on charges of felony, illegal possession of stolen property, and resisting an officer. So this guy doesn't sound like someone you want around your things, all right. So some reports indicated Washington was considered armed and dangerous due to allegations that firearms had been taken from some of the burglaries, and deputies took Washington into custody without further incident. And he was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center. So the arrest comes after Washington had been actively sought by multiple agencies in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries in Saint Tammany, and Livingston Parish authorities had been assisting in the search after receiving information that he was in the Denim Springs area. No injuries were reported during the chase or the arrest, but we have a cool picture of him face down, yeah in the grass.

1:15:38 Look and running across that interstate. If any of y'all out there around my age, you played Froger Yeah, yeah, and that's like playing Froger Man. Seventy miles an hour, both directions, and you got six lanes of traffic. He didn't want to get a jail. Now, it tells me that because I'm stopping before I got a run all the interstate and saying that is going to wrap up over time. But you know, I'm not done with surprises. We're gonna We're gonna release an extra episode in celebration of my favorite holiday of the year, which is Independence Day. You love the fourth of July, you always have it, love it.
