0:11 Hey there, everybody. Welcome back to Crime Wire Weekly, where we have got a full show for you today with updates and then breaking cases too that are just all over the map today. And we're gonna start in South Carolina where Alex Murdall's murder conviction is overturned and Jim is gonna bring that one to you. And then we're gonna go look at Disney Cruise Line. I know we've got vacations coming up. It's on the summertime, right really, and we've got a bunch of employees that are in a lot of trouble. They're deported and it's all revolving around a child porn investigation. Shocking. I know, you never want kids in Disney and porn in the same conversation. And then we're gonna come right here to Louisiana where a woman was arrested in the death of former Rapids Parish sheriff. And we had spoken about that case before, but we've got some updates for you that you're gonna want to know. And then we're going to go to the school bus of all places right here again in Louisiana, and that's just a place where nothing should happen. You get off a school bus and you go home. But we've got some eighteen year olds plus two others that were arrested after a shooting took place right there at the bus stop. A man that is described as the tenant from Hell has been arrested in the Bronx, New York. And this is not one you could guess of what we're gonna say.

Then we're gonna call this one the Goldilocks Crime when we do our Foolish Felon segment, and this is going to be in Los Angeles, and again, this is something you can't make up. It's kind of wild and it certainly fits the foolish felon stigma that we're going to give it. Then an utterly unrelated this segment's going to be all about getting stuck on a roller coaster. I don't know how many people have experienced. That's a lot of a lot of people's worst nightmare. Mine because I'm afraid of heights. Yeah, but that's it happened. Yeah, we're going to talk about that. Then we're going to go to Florida, where we have this new trend called teen takeover. It's not a cool trend and it's going to lead to twenty two arrests, which we will go into. And then Colorado, we've got a man there that's going to die after he gets hit by a commercial jet. I know that's all over the news. We've got some information on that for you. And then we're going to wrap it up in Pennsylvania where a man sets fire to his romantic interests home because that's the way to win one over.

I don't think last couple of weeks, Oh Mother's Day happened that I was leaning in how's day? You're a mother? I am. I've been called a mother before with some others added to it, but mine is great that I went antiquing by my day himself, and that was a treat my husband watched the kids and I then veged out on the couch and took some naps.

And I'm look, I'm a man, and I'll say it firsthand that the patience level is totally different. Usually that's awesome. I'm glad. I'm glad that you had a good day at your house too. Yeah. So we will get into it, and we're going to bring you to South Carolina, and look, I probably got it. I'm not exaggerating. Twenty five to thirty messages on Facebook within an hour of this coming out, people saying, when are you going to cover this, Jim, when are you gonna cover it? Because I did twenty seven episodes of the murderall trial on Exposed, and so I do want to tell these people. I have already printed out the Supreme Court decision. It's forty seven pages long and we're going to get into it in the next episode of Exposed. But to tell you what has happened in a stunning reversal, and that was the adjective used by this article. That's not the adjective I would use because I don't consider it stunning. If you go one hundred percent, if you go back to April twenty fifth of twenty twenty five, that was my final episode I covered on

4:46 MRDALL and I told you then this was not going to stand, that it was going to be overturned. And look, I'm not nostradamus. I don't have a crystal ball, but I could see the writing on the wall when you had the inner farance. It took place with the Clerk of court in this trial. She totally ruined this conviction. But we'll get into it. The South Carolina Supreme Court did unanimously, and that's important, overturned the double murder convictions of disgraced attorney Alex Murdoch or is he as he calls himself Elick Murdoch, which is nothing like the spelling. I think he does that because it's sneaty sounding to say, my name is Elick and it's spelled a L e x, but whatever, Well, it's always drove me nuts.

But when he was drafted, huh okay, they went up to call his name and they called him Brett Favor. Brett Favor. Brett Favor got drafted, and that tells you how low he was in the draft. The Hall of Fame and my favorite football player of all time. But anyway, shout out Brett Ford. If you're listening, just call. We'd love to have you on the show talking about crime. All right, So anyway back to Alec Murdall, there was a ruling that jury tampering by a clerk court deprived him of a fair trial and ordered a new trial in this high profile case. The five to zero decision was issued just yesterday May thirteenth, twenty twenty six, and it's centered around the actions of former Cullington County Clerk of Court Rebecca Hill. The justice is found that he'll improperly influence jurors during Murdall's twenty twenty three trial by urging them to distrust his testimony and watch him closely. Not something that you want to say if you are a clerk.

6:35 Of court, come and obviously should not be doing Yeah. One hundred percent, comments the court said were motivated in parts by our hopes of profiting off of a book deal. Tied to a guilty verdict. Hill later pleaded guilty to perjury, obstruction of justice, and misconduct in office. He is in jail. Quote. Although we are aware of the time, money and effort expended for the lengthy trial, we had no choice but to reverse the decision. Murdaugh, who is fifty seven, was convicted in March of twenty twenty three in the shootings of his wife Maggie and his son Paul at the family sprawling Moseille hunting estate in Collington County. He was sentenced to two consecutive life terms without parole. The case has drawn national and international attention, and during this case it was also revealed and it became a problem in this conviction because there was a lot of focus on the fact that he had some financial crimes that he was also being charged with in a separate trial, and those came out in this trial, and that's not a good thing. That was something I was also concerned with because there was so much focus on it and it was seemingly unrelated. And the problem with that is the judge in the case allied it. I kind of figured that would cause an issue as well, and I'll get deeper into that into expose. We'll talk about it more, but shocking overturn in this case. It is. One thing

8:07 I will say is that you don't have to worry about him ever getting out of jail because he sentenced to forty years for these financial crimes, and that forty years was a federal sentence, not a state sentence, so there is no parole on federal sentences. There are only paroles on state sentences. So he's going to serve until he's at least ninety six years old before you ever get so he's going to die in prison in all likelihood, no matter what happens with this. But they say they're going to retry him Kelly Jennings. Half a million dollars was the cost to try him in his first trial, and because of this interference, you just pissed a half a million dollars down the drain of taxpayer money.

8:52 And to that point, okay, again, the taxpayer is also the victim here because we have to fund this pony show, and then because of one person's selfishness, because they want to make a financial gain off of someone's tragedy, which is in and of itself, you know, just I know, we people want to tell the stories. But I mean, you're you threw an entire trial that so much time and effort was put in by prosecutors to lay this out for these jurors. Those jurors gave their time doing their civic duty and you know, listen intently, and then to get the conviction, and then to have that all just thrown out because of one person's selfishness and someone who specifically knew better. I mean, you're the clerk of court.

9:34 You knew better. It's a good reversal. I agree with the courts on that decision. I figure they will try this again, and I don't know, they may throw him out a plea deal offer of that, but it would secure that he would definitely die in prison, you never know, just just for the sake of you know, saving the taxpayers money or something like that. But I don't think he would take a plea deal. I don't This is you're up in being charge for killing your wife and son. I don't think you're going to play out on that when you're looking at like he's still going to be in prison. There's nothing, he has nothing to lose to fight it. But at least when they try the second time, they'll get a good conviction again and then it'll remove any continuing appeal continuing appeals, hopefully on a constitutional you know argument or whatever.

10:22 So right, and I want to say this as much. Look, he's a piece of shit, there's no doubt about it. But I think the Supreme Court got it right. They did it is the right call. If we don't have that, the right to a fair trial in this country, we don't have a country. And it is the cusp of our justice system. He did not get a fair trial, doesn't mean he didn't do it, but he But when you're tampering with a jury, that is the sheer definition of not a fair trial. So I'm glad to see the Supreme Court did the right thing despite the fact of who he is. And uh, I'm actually surprised they're going to reprosecute the case because it's gonna be another half a million dollars. And look, their case had no physical evidence. This was all circumstantial. Not saying he didn't do it, but it was all circumstantial. So we'll see they don't want to give.

11:18 To jul got the conviction, which tells you though whatever that circumstantial evidence may be, it was very strong as far as the jury felt. You know, circumstantial cases are the hardest ones. And he was still convicted on that. Do you know what was it a unanimous Well, he. Was convicted due to jury tampering. Well, had she not done what she did, would he have been convicted. There's one jermist said they were not. They were gonna they were gonna say not guilty. That's what my question was. If it was a unanimous or not. There was a There was someone they called the egg juror who actually held out and was pressured allegedly, and she came out after and said, oh I misspoke here.

11:59 She was not. She was dismissed right before deliberations and she said I was going to not guilty, and she believes that's why she was dismissed because she was putting a fight up. There's some debate there on whether that's sure or not, but we'll see. Yeah, this is just unfortunate, I think for everybody because it was a you know, it was a waste of so much effort, and the victims paid the price of this, yeah, and money and everything else. All right, Well, let's go to San Diego where US Customs and Border Protection agents detained and then ultimately deported twenty seven foreign cruise ship crew members and this included at least ten from the Disney Cruise Line after discovering that they were involved in their receipt, possession, transportation, distribution, or even viewing of child sexual exploitation material. And the operation took place between April twenty third and April twenty seventh of twenty twenty six at the Port of San Diego now CPB, working with Homeland Security investigations as part of Operation Title Wave, boarded eight cruise ships docked in San Diego after they received tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that there was something going on. Agents interviewed twenty eight suspected crew members, primarily from the Philippines, along with one that was from Portugal and one from Indonesia. Officers confirmed that twenty seven of the twenty eight individuals had child pornography on their personal devices or were otherwise engaged with

13:29 child sexual abuse material, so the workers' visas were immediately revoked and they were deported to their home countries without facing US criminal charges. In this operation, passengers aboard the Disney Magic reportedly witnessed several crew members, some who were still in their uniforms, being escorted off the ship by federal agents. A Disney Cruise Line spokesperson said that the company has a zero tolerance policy for this type of behavior and fully cooperated with law enforcement. We take any allegations of this nature extremely seriously, according to their statement. Disney confirmed that a number of its employees were among those removed, but emphasized that the vast majority of its crew were not involved. The CPB described the action as part of a broader effort to combat child sexual exploitation in the maritime industry, where crew members often come from overseas work on vessels that frequently enter US ports. Officials noted that cruise ships present or present unique challenges because of the transient nature of the workforce and the volume of international travel. No passengers were implicated, and there is no indication that any of the material involved children aboard the ships. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities examining whether the individuals were part of a larger network.

14:42 Yeah. Shaw, you sent that article to me actually a couple of days ago, and shock that is Disney is symmetrical with children. Yeah, and so any time you're taking it Disney cruise line trap typically you're with your kids and you read an article like that, and it's just sure. You know. What it made my mind jump to is that, you know, we take cruises and sometimes we'll take our littles, we call our younger children are littles, and they have the like daycare centers on the ships that you'll go turn your kid over to so that you can go have dinner together or go you know, hang out and gamble or whatever without your children. My mind immediately went this.

15:28 I've not to this because I've never been on a Disney cruise. But I don't think they have gambling. But well no, but I'm saying, like, if they have childcare, who knows? Put blue on Mickey, But you know, if they do have one of those ciners, and just my mind went to, my god, they've got complete control of your children. They've got devices that they can do whatever they want. And that's a huge number of employees. I don't care if they said the vast number of them were they they're all expected to not be criminals. There one is too many. And then we've got ten, at least it says at least ten that are all in a concerted effort. Here. It seems like to have this material. This is beyond disturbing to me. And I bet you they are in a pr nightmare. Oh yeah, right now.

16:17 Yeah, it's It puts a huge black eye on Disney, and I hope they get it straight. I hope they figure out how to properly maybe increase their vetting process of the people that they're hiring. I don't know how you could go about doing that. I don't know if any of these people have records of doing that in the past. I would think not. But whatever they're doing, they need to vet better. I don't want to I don't want to sound ignorant here, but I genuinely don't know the answer. But it says that they were deported without charges in the US. Well, if there were no charges in the US, if they were to come back, then they're not going to be on any type of registry. They're not going to because you know, we don't they didn't go through our process.

Well, Custom and Border Patrol deported them, so there they can't come back in once you're deported, well legally, right, but I mean if anybody could come in illegally. Right, I'm you. But it's like their name. I hope that there's a I hope that there's it's documented in some way what the deportation was over that is accessible by by local law enforcement, because if they make it back in, I take that as a direct threat now because you know why you're not here and then you came back. Yeah, I agree. All right, I'm going to give you some breaking news, folks. This is something that just came down the pipe last night. So I don't have a article that I wrote on this subject, but we're going to cover it because it's kind of a big deal here in the state of Louisiana, and that is a Louisiana State Police Superintendent, Colonel Robert Hodges is expected to step down in the upcoming Moss. Hodges Penning departure comes as people in his inner circle say that he is interested for running for Saint Tammany Parish sheriff. Now. That was told to WFB, which is a local news source.

18:12 They said he's also possibly seeking an appointment as the next US Marshall for the Eastern District of Louisiana, which would include the New Orleans area. Now, his departure from the agency is expected to take place in August. And asked Wednesday by WFB whether Hodges is stepping down, a Louisiana State Police spokesman did not directly answer the question, saying, quote, Colonel Hodges is proud to serve and support our public every day across the state and continues to fulfill his duties as superintendent. The Governor's office later responded. Asked about Hodges's potential departure, Governor Jeff Landry said, I have always had the utmost confidence in Colonel Hodges and I fully support the Colonel Hodges has led the States Law Enforcement Agency since January eighth of twenty twenty four, when Landry appointed him Superintendent of the Louisiana State Police. He also served as Deputy Secretary for Public Safety Services, overseeing more than twenty seven hundred employees with a budget of six hundred and thirty five million dollars. He's a native of New Orleans and a graduate of Brother Martin High School.

19:25 And kind of shocking news to come out of the Louisiana State Police because number one, he's relatively new there. I mean twenty twenty four. He was appointed your talking less than two years ago from today, and he's already got HISI on another job. I will say that his post has not been without its controversy. There's been a several things come out with bodycam videos and such where some things were I guess the nice way of saying that were not done as per policy that hey, you're the leader of that agency and ship rolls downhill and and so it's looked at as a black eye on you.

20:07 But surprising to me that he's interested in running, possibly for the Saint Tammany Parish Sheriff. I'm wonder to know if that's a if that's kind of like a lateral move because he realized state police just isn't he doesn't want to be the commander of the state agency. Maybe he feels more comfortable as at just a parish level. I don't know. I wouldn't consider that a lateral move. I can can tell the downward move that a sheriff is not the same as a superintendent of state. Yeah, I understand, maybe lateral wasn't the right word. But if maybe he you know, maybe he's just like, this is not what I intended, This is not what I thought it would be. And so the down size to a smaller just to a parish that he thinks he can control and he can make a difference in. I don't know. I don't have a thing to base that on.

20:58 Well, it's also interesting that St. Tammany paarish sheriff. He just he's in his first term. If I'm not mistaken, I don't know. Yeah, he's in his first term. If I believe I'm mistaken, at most his second term, because the former governor's brother was the sheriff of Saint Tammany Parish forever and of course he retired. He is he is the husband of Judge Blair Edwards. Yeah, yea, yeah, so at least one term, maybe two terms. That the Saint Tammany Parish sheriff has been there, kind of surprising he'd go after that job. But the reason I'm saying what I'm saying is that I remember working under a principal one time at a school and it blew my mind. But she just decided, you know, this is not what I want to do.

And she ended up becoming the librarian at her own school, and someone else took up, took over, and it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. It was just that she it just didn't fit. It wasn't a good fit for her. And sometimes people get into jobs and they're just like, this is taking up too much of my time and I don't want this life up in a life where I can, you know, leave at five o'clock or whatever, and they get out of whatever they're doing. Not saying that's this situation. But it's just interesting because I'll tell. You this, if you're the same Tamany Pairs shriff, that's a former candidate that may be running against you. That's interesting. So we'll see to be posted.

22:27 All right, We're going to stay right here in Baton Rouge in Louisiana, where three teenage cousins, including an eighteen year old who had been released from jail days earlier and was also fitted with a GPS ankle monitor. All right, so he's a real winner here, but he was arrested after a Northeast high school student was shot moments after stepping off of a school bus in East Baton Rouge Parish, in East Batish Parish. I don't know why I said, was adding more to that, but according to the Sheriff's office, the shooting occurred shortly before three pm on Tuesday, May fifth, and this was near the intersection of Brownsfield Drive and Cooper Drive. Deputies say that the suspects followed the school bus with the intention of confronting or jumping a group of people that were associated with some drama with them Xavier Williams eighteen, Cameron Williams nineteen and I think you would pronounce this Christan instead of Kristen, but Christan Williams eighteen.

23:24 They were taken into custody a short distance away after deputies located a vehicle believed to be in connection with the incident. Now a firearm was reportedly seen falling from the vehicle during the stop, and then multiple firearms were recovered inside that alone, That alone is pretty scary that they would have all these weapons in that vehicle. But the victim, which like I said, was a Northeast high school student, suffered a non life threatening gunshot wound and was transported by ambulance with a police escort to our Lady of the Late Children's Hospital and he was listed as in stable condition. Nobody else was injured in the incident. Now, all three of these cousins, so they come from the same damn family, but they all are facing charges of attempted second degree murder. Xavier Williams was additionally charged with illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrumentalities. Cameron Williams and Christain Williams each had one hundred thousand dollars bond set while Xavier's he was booked and then he was held with outbond due to the new charges and get this a prison hold from his prior case. So courts records show that Xavier Williams had been arrested on April twenty ninth by the US Marshall Service Fugitive Task Force on charges that included aggravated assault of a dating partner and illegal use of a weapon. So are we seeing a trend here, Jim with this guy. The incident stemmed from an alleged domestic dispute at his uncle's home in Baker, where shots were fired on April twenty third after an argument.

24:51 He bonded out of the East bantersh Parish prison on May first after posting a thirty thousand dollars bond and was placed on house arrest with an electronic ankle monitor. His bond conditions explicitly prohibited him from possessing or purchasing firearms, so the district Attorney, Hillar Moore said that his office, wilsonpoena records from the Ankle Monitoring ankle monitoring company to determine if any violations were reported prior to the shooting. The school system confirmed it is aware of the incident involving one of its students, but released no further details about the victim, and the investigation remains ongoing. Yeah, another ankle monitor crime and it seems like the I don't know what the answer is, but the first of all, baton Arye is God dang man yours, a shooting off kid getting off of school bus. I mean that used to be kind of off limits, even for gang bangers. This is getting ridiculous with this Batner's crime.

I can't tell you how many stories I've covered, you've covered where ankle monitors were cut off, and I don't know what the answer is there, but the ankle monitor ain't work, and that's for sure. Well, the answer is that, why the hell was the skuy even out? That's that's what the answer is here, because I mean, he's in a domestic violence situation allegedly, okay, where he's charged with aggravated of assault. He already doesn't control himself with weapons. He's not even supposed to be in possession of a weapon. The guy should be not let out. I don't know why. Okay, there's more to that. I can't just make that blanket statement, but I'm saying he's got to have due process, obviously, But this is a dangerous human being and he's young. And that's what makes it worse for me is that it's not like this is a fifty year old who flashed out and did something, you know, stupid one time. This dude has only been on the earth eighteen fricking years.

26:43 Yeah, all three of them between eighteen nineteen. And he's got two shootings now under his belt. Thank god the first one didn't result in someone's death. He's not afraid of penalties, no, tell me. I mean, he's not afraid. He bonded out. He's walking the streets. They give him an electronic ankle monitor, which I would be willing to bet he didn't even have a check in yet because he's only been out how many How long did I say, it was just like days prior. This is absurd And if we don't get harder on criminals, they're going to continue to do what they do. And I think some of the issue is especially in this situation. So the East bat and Ridge Parish Prison is you know, as they say, the inn is full.

27:25 The problem is you only got so many rooms to house these people, so many sells, so many beds, and so ankle monitors. When it would when they first came out, this was more to take non violent criminals drunk let them look, yeah, or people the theft, people that maybe steal something out of a storage in it, you know, nonviolent crimes and nonviolent criminals and slap an ankle monitor on them and say we'll see you in court. They're now putting ankle monitors on people who are beating their wives, shooting people pulling guns. That's not what ankle monitors were intended for my opinion. I agree.

28:06 You know, you got a drug charge, you got caught smoking weed, slapping ankle mondor on them, got no problem with that. But the problem is the violent criminals. Are getting it, yeah, because they're just gonna be. More violent people that are charged violent. There's just going to be more victims, right that. You're just waiting for there to be more victims, and then the rest of us who are law abiding citizens are just sitting back shaking our heads, going another one out. You know, that's that's that's doing this. You've we have got to rein in who we are electing as as judges and our lawmakers because we're putting people in position to make these decisions and it's not working. It's not working. That kid could have lost his life getting off of a damn school bus.

Speaking of jacking people, We're gonna go to the Bronx, New York, The Bronx. Jenny from the Bronx, Remember that she was Jenny from the block, and then when she went. Back she was from the Bronx. Was allegedly because then when she went back to the block, ain't nobody know her. We're talking about the most beautiful singer. I don't care for her, Jennifer Lopez. I think she's a very talented lady. I love that for you. All Right, let's go to the Bronx, and I'm going to tell you about residents of an apartment building in the Bronx. And look, they say that they are done with it. They're finished, They're through. They're sick and tired of having to deal with a cross dressing tenant from hell.

29:44 And let me tell you what this guy was doing. He was running the hallways and wigs and little else, just a wig nude, and he was openly masturbating in common areas, waving weapons and neighbors. He want nearly blew up the building by leaving gas burners on while he was smoking. He sounds Jim. He sounds like a gym. This is a guy you don't want. Oh wait, wait, sorry. I don't cross gm diamond, I don't cross dress. I hope you don't go naked. Cross dress. So the man at the center of this nightmare, his name is Anthony or Rosako, and I'm one hundred percent shore I'm pronouncing that. So we're gonna call him anthony O Anthony anthony O. And he has been terrorizing the multi unit building by parading through hallways wearing colorful wigs, a pink thong, and sometimes women's clothing like a tight black dress. Now, Leona Clemente, who is forty four, in a long time tenant. She had an order of protection actually put against this guy. I don't blame her, uh, she told the post where this article came from. The blonde wig. It messes with me. The pink wig messes with me. This guy masturbating really messes with me. I don't get it. She said. They have a tenant from hell.

31:08 He drives us crazy, he's harassing us. He does a lot of crazy things. And actually they have a lot of footage captured through like peep holes showing this guy banging aggressively on a door with a hatchet, which is kind of disturbing. And if you're watching the video version of this, you're seeing that he was dressed in women's clothing. Other clips allegedly depict him touching himself inappropriately in a hallway while lurking with knives. The situation escalated dangerously in April of twenty twenty six, when he allegedly turned on all four stove burners in his apartment without lighting them, filled the unit in the hallways with gas, and started smoking.

31:50 The guy's crazy. The guy's obviously nuts, and he had not paid rent. This was the most shocking part of this story since December of twenty twenty four, y'all. So remember where you're at. You're in New York. There are you know here, if you don't pay rent in a couple of months, they're going to kick you out of your apartment. Here in South Louisiana there there is like so much red tape to evict someone. From a home, That's what I was about, or from. An apartment that. Yeah, he's been able to not even have to pay rent since December of twenty twenty four, which is crazy to me. He was arrested at least twice in April of twenty twenty six, once for breaking in, or rather breaking a neighbor's doorbell camera with a stick, and another time for swinging a metal rail at a forty four year old woman. On May ninth of twenty twenty six, he was arrested again for violating Clemente's order of protection that she filed against him by harassing her and HER's son, including banging on her kitchen window with a stick. Think about that. I mean, these people have to live there. They don't want this shit going on, you know, in their apartment complex. The behavior they say has been allegedly going on for like three years. They're calling for him to be removed from the building, and obviously they're pointing out his mental health issues. Insert weapons, insert a public danger to blow up potentially blow up building, and you're naked, masturbating, you're sexually enthralled. There's children involved.

And when you're we all have rights, okay, we all have rights, and you cannot, in my humble opinion, tread on me to this level. When you start involving weapons and sexual perversion, and then almost blowing up a building. This is a failure and someone in law enforcement should be doing something about this, and it should before someone goes to the media. I agree, this is in excess, you know, of of what should be acceptable, and the people there should raise Hell.

He goes in his house and there is a naked stranger fast asleep in his bed.

But instead, Michael Dwarte arrived at his Echo Park residence late Saturday night, and he had been gone for several days. But he immediately noticed something was wrong because he saw that the glass panel next to the back door had been smashed, and then when he went inside, the kitchen had been ransacked. There was pantry items pulled out, food was scattered everywhere. So his first thought was, oh, my god, a wild animal must have come in here and just damaged everything and tore up the house. But the real shot came when he went back to his bedroom, because he said, to see a man not just sleeping in my bed, but completely naked, sleeping in my bed. I was shocked, like Goldilocks from the Three Bears. And so someone's sleeping in my bed instead of the little bear. So authorities say that the unidentified intruder had apparently been inside the home for hours, treating it like his own. So what did he do? What are you gonna do when you break in someone's house and you're spending time there. I'm glad you asked, Jim, because I'm gonna tell you. He ate an entire box of ice cream sandwiches, a box of Beyond Beef burger patties, which he did cook in the microwave. He ate a doll whip container from the freezer.

37:31 All right, now, this is what would really get me, because you know how much I hate this. He also opened a fresh, unopened sixty piece pack of gum, chewed every single piece, and then spit out a massive wad the size. Of a softball sixty piece bubble gum. My jaw would hurt, well, they do so. In addition, the man clogged the toilet with towels, and then on the back patio he found time to use a statue to kill a possum. Okay, so d'Arte quickly stepped back outside, where a friend was waiting in the car with his pets, and he was like, YO, call the police. I got a dead possum and a naked man in my bed.

Now, whenever they were leading the suspect away in handcuffs and they were trying to put him in the police car. He yelled out threats, allegedly at Dwarte and his friend and the officer, saying I'm going to kill you. So that's uncomfortable on top of everything else. Now, they haven't released any of the man's name or any details about the possible charges as of right now, and the investigation investigation remains ongoing. Sounds like this guy was on a bunch of drugs or something. I mean, he definitely had the munchies, He's no doubt about that, you know, just La. He's probably just typical for La. Oh you got to kill the possum?

38:52 Yeah, I don't know, but obviously a disturbing situation for the for the homeowner. And it's funny, well it's not funny, but it's ironic that this guy was a news reporter. He was a sports caster, local sports caster, very popular in the area. You don't typically see that happening to people that have that sort of stature. So this guy was his mind was blade, I'm sure, but actually a horrible situation could have been dangerous if that guy would have done that In Louisiana. Somebody had shot him quick. Yeah. Yeah, oh all of us got guns in our cars here. So yeah. I saw I read a quote one time. It was someone I think it was like a Chinese leader or something like that, and they asked why hasn't China ever invaded the US? And the quote was he said, because behind every blade of grass, we know an American had a gun or whatever.

Supposedly the reason they didn't invade the United States was because the Japanese Emperor said that Japanese Emperor Empire Japan. 41:33 And I think you're gonna enjoy this when I'm gonna tell you about a routine family trip to six Flags in New England, so in the Boston area that turned into a heart pounding ordeal for a Westport, Connecticut woman who says She and her eleven year old child were left dangling at the highest point of the Joker roller coaster for nearly an hour while heavy rain poured down them. Samantha Stanley said that she was visiting the park with a friend and the friends to children when the group decided to ride the Batman theme coaster, or the ride, which reaches heights of one hundred and twenty feet. It is way up there came to a sudden stop at its peak during their ride. Quote, we were stuck at the very top, tilted at a forty five degree.

So. Stanley said that she started panicking as the minutes stretched into nearly forty five to sixty minutes. She said park workers appeared unaware that riders were still on the coaster, which added to the fear, she said. She said, nobody realized we were up there. It was terrifying. The group eventually felt the ride jolt back into motion and made it safely to the bottom. No injuries were reported six flags. They haven't released a statement, and I bet they're not gonna want to release the statement, although they may end up having to.

43:23 But pretty scary situation. One hundred and twenty feet up and if you're watching on the Patreon, you see the ride. I have a picture of it up there. But I had kind of a similar experience me and my son actually when my son was he was maybe thirteenth at the time, and it was in Disney World and we were on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I love that one. It's one of my favorite rides. And we were at the top of it and it stops and we sit there and everybody's like, what the heck's going on? And then it slowly rolled for about another five feet to a catwalk and this announcement comes over like a PA system who knew that they had that, and they say, okay, everybody has to exit the ride, and we're at the top of the freaking ride. And the mountains like right here, and so that's what we did. There was like a catwalk and people just they would move the ride up to where you would get off. Something happened with the ride.

44:21 But it was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had, and I've been to Disney World like fourteen times I had ever had at Disney World, because I actually went through the middle of the mountain and got to see the inner workings of this thing as we're going down. And when we got to the end, there was a Disney rep there and she gave everybody that was on that ride, including me and my son, some sort of magic pass that allowed us to have a fast pass to every ride in the park. Oh that's like gold. So we didn't have to wait in line the rest of the day, and so that was pretty cool. But it was a little bit I mean, that catwalk was only enough to fit one person at a time. It was a little bit nerve wracking, but it happens. The machines they break. I would be freaking out if I was, you.

Like I don't think that I'll not because I'll hit the ground, but because I think my heart will give out. Right, that would be something I don't know that I would be able to walk. I said, I've written this, well, so I lied to my kid because obviously all are figuring out. I don't know anything, apparently, but I thought the ride broke, but I didn't know that it's on a cyclical thing where sometimes it'll drop just the two times, and then sometimes it'll drop like four times, and we happen to get on that random time that it dropped all the times.

46:37 H to this day, there are trust issues between me and Disney or wherever the hell I was, and my daughter and me, because that's something you don't lie to your kid about, right, And I okay, So we know that we live in an era where there's trends. Right, there's always some new trend that people are trying, like like tiktokle. Say the new trend is, you know, light yourself on fire, and for some reason people will run into it like the dumbest stuff. Yeah, okay, we need to make better trends, like hey, new trend past your classes, become a doctor any But no, we're not doing that. We're gonna do this viral teen takeover trend that's going on where in this area was the Curtis Hickson Waterfront Park. Hundreds of teenagers showed up. And what happens when a bunch of young people get together and there's little control.

47:21 What do you think, Jim, that's not good. It's not good. And that's exactly what happened. So it spiraled into fights, traffic blockades, and tons of public disorder. This was on Friday night and the Tampa Police Department had to show up intervene and it resulted in the arrest of twenty two individuals ranging from the age of twelve to twenty one. So the incident started, it was about nine pm one May the eighth, and this large crowd came. All of this organized through social media and they show up and they just started what was supposed to be a casual meetup turn into significant disruptions, fighting, just utter chaos, and so the officers described it as just brawls spilling into the roadways. The motorists didn't know what to do. The police had to jump in and intervene in this. So all in all they arrested twenty two people on a variety of charges, which this should be alarming here because it wasn't like they just got disorderly conduct or something.

48:22 It was fighting in public, okay, but there was possession of narcotics. There was resisting law enforcement but with violence, which means they were fighting the police. There was unlawful possession of a weapon. There was a lot of things going on here. And eighteen of those arrests were juveniles, with only four of them over the age of eighteen, so these were very, very young people. They recovered two firearms that they took into custody as well as they seized a vehicle that they believed was involved in this disturbance. And so the Tampa Police chief, his name's Lee Burkall, he condemned the event and he's some pretty strong words saying that this type of recklessness and criminal behavior will not be tolerated in our city. And he's talking to the parents saying, look, you need to monitor your children's activities more closely, especially as the summertime is approaching. These team takeover events have been reported in cities all over the country, and basically it's like this phenomenon where there's this large flash mob style gathering of adolescents and young adults, but it's all coordinated online and it's a big issue when there's no supervision, there's nobody there to keep everybody in line. So similar incidents in recent months have led to violence. There was property damage, mass arrests, and other Florida cities and beyond, and the Tampa officials say that they're already bracing for potential copycat events in the downtown area this week. So there was bodycam and helicopter video that was released by the police department showing officers navigating

49:54 through chaotic scenes of running youths and physical altercations, and one clip depicted a large group brawling underneath a covered structure which was near the waterfront. Okay, so no serious injuries to officers or bystanders were reported, but the police emphasized that when this type of stuff is going on and they're being completely reckless, they're putting the public at risk. And so all the arrested individuals have been processed and many of the juveniles were released to their guardians, but they are pending for their court proceedings. Yeah, and you know, my first thought and really final thought on that is where the freaking parents man, twelve nights come on, dude, these trends that they're doing it was the nick the knocking on the door trend for a long time. Now it's this stuff.

50:44 It's stupid, It's beyond stupid. And you have twelve year olds that are mingling with nineteen and eighteen year olds. That's a terrible idea. Yeah, parents need to tighten up, man, because I'm going to tell you what, most of these cities, especially these big cities, they're not going after the parents and finding them responsible in a lot of these cases as well. And I agree with it. I'm you got a twelve year old catting out and going to the mall with you know, four hundred people, four hundred teenagers just wreaking havoc. Of ship. Tells you that that's a problem. Yeah, just idiots. Anyway, let's go to Denver and I'm gonna tell you about a person who jumped a perimeter fence at Denver International Airport, ran onto a runway, and was struck and killed by a Frontier Airlines jet during takeoff. This occurred last Friday night. The collision triggered an engine fire, forced and emergency evacuation of the aircraft, and left twelve passengers with minor injuries. The incident occurred around eleven nineteen pm on May eighth, as Frontier Airlines Flight forty three forty five was bound for the Los Angeles International Airport. It was exceting down the rumway an airport officials set and unidentified at that time, individuals scaled the airport's perimeter fence and was hit just two minutes later while running across an active rumway. The impact caused significant damage to one

52:15 of the plane's engines, which briefly caught fire and filled the cabin with smoke. According to passenger videos and official reports, pilots aborted the takeoff roll and brought the aircraft to a spot a stop, and all two hundred and twenty four passengers and seven crew members thankfully evacuated safely using emergency slides. Five people were taken to the hospital for evaluation and then busted back to the terminal. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed the individual was trespassing and deliberately scaled the perimeter fence and ran outside onto the rumway. He described the event as a security breach and netted the trespasser was struck at a very high speed. Holy hit by a plane. It's unbelievable. Wow. Frontier Airlines issued a statement saying it was deeply saddened by the incident and cooperating with investigators. Uh now the victim's identity has has since been released. It was also uh it also came out that this was an alleged suicide, so it was intentional.

53:21 And this guy had a pretty lengthy record for a lot of different things. So there is some more information out there. But you know, first of all, if it's a strange way to, you know, take yourself out, first of all. Who very bizarre way too, because you would have to line yourself up properly, you know, saying like you have to be very Yeah, it's odd, like jumping in front of a train, you know where you need to be right there in a three foot area where the track is like this is. This is a very bizarre one and it got so. Many other people. He could have been hurt in this situation. He didn't care. That wasn't even his you know, he wasn't thinking about that. But that to be sucked up in the engine, I mean, Dad gone, you know, that's that's that's was he sued.

54:11 Then I thought he was hit by the wing. He was, he was, there was not much left. Okay. Yeah, so that's why the engine caught him fire, is because it sucked him up in it and then okay, locked up the Okay, I'm not in at the FAA inspector. But now that can happen. That's I thought it like hit him, the wing hit him. Well, from what I've been watching and reading, that's not how I understood it. So if we're wrong, yeah, if we're wrong, that's just what our understanding of it. At this point. We don't have any it's a terrible, terrible And I did see a video too, and again, because of the way the internet is these days, you never know exactly what's on the up and up or not.

54:54 But I saw a video and there I didn't realize how much smoke was in that cabin when those passengers were being evacuated off of it. I don't know why. I guess I thought it was more on the outside and they were just doing it because of the damage to the plane. But there was a there was a good bit of smoke in that cabin. Yeah, I don't know why I didn't realize it, but I was like, oh my god, I would have been choking and coughing because I don't do well with any type of obstruction in the air. So anyone who had a medical issue, I'm sure that was a lot more difficult for them too. Sure. Wow, that's scary planes, and you know, because I don't like heights, Like being up high is scary. And then I'm always scared when we land because that I don't know. I always think I'm going to crash, and then to hit somebody on the runway like just when off, yeah, I would have been just panicked.

55:39 Man. Okay, let's go to Pennsylvania where a man is facing arson charges after the police say that he deliberately set a house on fire and he killed one woman. He critically injured two other people. But all of this moments after he was professing his love or his love interest in a woman and she read him, so his reaction was to light it on fire. So the fire broke out at eleven fifty five pm. This was on Wednesday, May the sixth, at a multi tenant rental home and this was in Mifflin County. So according to the police, forty year old Robert Shane Zimmerman had been inside the residents professing his love to a woman that was living in the attic, which that confused me. Is that like saying, do they just call it the attic like she was in the top She might.

56:27 They might have had an attic that they had turned into a room. I mean people do that, like an air conditioned attic. I hope, I don't know. My brain went so it was an air conditioned but it is in Pennsylvania. It doesn't get hot there. Yeah, Well, when she rejected him, Zimmerman became upset and then he just started setting several items on fire on the floor. The thing was, the blaze spread rapidly and it trapped several occupants inside. So Brandy Gail Philippi is how I believe you would pronounce her last name. She was forty four years old, a US Army veteran who specialized in Patriot missile systems. Well, she was found dead in the home. She had graduated high school in ninety nine. She had this career that was so strangely wonderful. She had worked as a culinary arts training, she was a flight attendant or went to flight attendant school at least, and then she later worked as a professional truck driver after she got her CDL and She was remembered by those who knew her just as a woman with lots of talent and just a deep passion for cats. She was a cat lover, and she was killed. In all of this, two other residents suffered serious injuries while trying to escape. Now, before I had finished reading about this story, I thought serious injuries might be like burns. Well, one man jumped from the second floor, but he landed. It looks like on his face because he had significant facial injuries and internal burns to his throat. So that tells me that he was choking. He couldn't breathe, and he just had to jump for his life. So he was flown to a regional burn trauma center. Then a second woman,

57:58 and this is scary to even think about, she was dangling from the second from a second floor window and she ended up passing out because there were so much smoke in the smoke inhalation. So she lets go when she passes out, and she falls straight down to a concrete sidewalk below, suffering very serious injuries. And both of those people that were hospitalized were in critical condition. So it wasn't just like a burn on the arm or something. This is very serious. Multiple witnesses then identified Zimmerman as the person responsible, and they told the investigators that they heard him confess to starting the fire and then later saw him standing in a nearby alley just watching the residents burn, and then surveillance images corroborated what these witnesses were saying. When the officers located Zimmerman, they said he smelled strongly of smoke and ash, and then he admitted to ingesting fentanyl and then started displaying signs of an opioid overdose, which meant he had to be brought to the hospital and they had to do their thing. They did get him stable, and then during the interrogation, he made several statements about events immediately before and after the fire, but he claimed that he couldn't recall any specifics from the exact moment that it started, which is very convenient now.

59:09 The authorities said that when they told him that someone had died in the blaze, he had a very strong emotional reaction to that information. They did rule the fire and arson, and he is currently being held at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility facing multiple charges, including arson, but additional charges are expected to be filed eventually in connection with Philippe's death and the injuries to the other victims, and then Philippe's death was ruled as a homicide. Oh well I would imagine. So yeah, and you know another story back to back there where people just don't give a shit that they're putting other people at risk as well. Obviously, you know this guy wanted to get back at his ex.

Yeah, when I was was no consideration of any any human life, you know. When I was dating, before I was married and all that. You know, if you were interested in someone and they weren't interested back in you, like, oh it hurt. The rejection hurt, but like you went and you got yourself some ice cream and then you cried as you shoveled it in your mouth, and that was how you dealt with it. You know, you didn't go murder people. And if that was your interest, your love interest, then if it was actually a love interest, you would never imagine hurting somebody. So this is crazy, This is ownership and attempted ownership of a human being, and when you couldn't have her, you killed her.
