Yeah, very pretty area and a quiet suburban neighborhood near Mandeville was shattered this past Monday when a domestic dispute turned deadly, resulting in one man killed and a woman hospitalized with stab wounds. Now authority say that a neighbor's quick actions may have saved the woman's life. The incident unfolded shortly before three am in the Greenleaf subdivision in Saint Tammany Parish. Deputies responded to reports of gunshots and discovered forty nine year old Seean Quinn deceased in the yard.

Quinn's girlfriend was found with multiple stab woms and was rushed to a local hospital, where her injuries were described as non life threatening, according to investigators. The violence began inside the residence, where Quinn allegedly attacked his girlfriend with a knife. The woman managed to escape by fleeing through a window and sought help from neighbors. Quinn pursued her outside, continued the assault, and this prompted a nearby resident to intervene. That neighbor, whose identity has not been released, confronting Quinn and demanded he stopped the attack. When Quinn refused and persisted in stabbing the woman in front of this guy, the neighbor fired his weapon, striking Quinn and killing him. On the scene.

4:37 Quinn was pronounced dead by authorities shortly after their arrival and the corner Christopher Tape confirmed that Quinn's identity was legit and valid in the cause of death as gunshot wounds. If you remember the Natalie Holloway case, the Dutch national convicted in the high profile murders of American teenager Natalie Holloway and Peruvian student Stephanie Flores was found severely injured in an apparent suicide attempt at a maximum security prison in Peru. Authorities confirmed that this week. The thirty eight year old was discovered on the morning of December fourteenth, hanging from a sheet or blanket tied around his neck and attached to a cell bar during a routine breakfast delivery around ten am. Prison guards at the Chaiapalca prison, located in the remote I think that you would say this is Tacna region of southern Peru, intervened promptly, providing immediate medical assistance and rushing him to the facility's infirmary.

If you are the one being protected, what if there was a system in place where like the bad person in the situation, or the alleged bad person you know, has to wear something maybe like an ankle monitor or something. But what if it would put it in like a geofence in relation to your cell phone as the victim, And what.

So you're basically if I walk in there and make up a story and say Kelly's beating the shit out of me, they're going to go through all that and I could.

All right, we'll go into Chicago, Illinois, and a shocking right rage incident that occurred in the city's southwest side turned chaotic when one driver smashed another's car window with an axe. But it gets better than that, only for the victim to retaliate by stealing the attacker's pickup truck.

He goes and he drives off in the assailant's pickup truck, leaving the axe wielding man behind.

The woman, identified as Helen Sanchez, was found unresponsive on Sunday morning, sparking questions about how did she end up in the restricted stock room area to begin with. According to Miami Police Department officials, an employee discovered Sanchez's body around eight am on December fourteenth, while opening the store. Police scanners captured dispatchers reporting a naked female in the cooler of the store. Surveillance footage reviewed by investigator shows no signs of foul play, which I can't understand, but the circumstances surrounding her entry into the freezer remain unclear. Sanchez, an accomplished anesthesiologist specializing in congenital heart disease, was visiting the United States from Nicaragua

The pardon process began when DeFord petitioned for clemency in twenty twenty four, citing how his criminal record created ongoing barriers, such as difficulties with international travel, obtaining permits for entries into countries like Canada, and restricting activities that you wouldn't really think think of, like hunting and owned firearms. The Tennessee Border Parole reviewed his application in October of twenty twenty four, and in April, the board issued a non binding, unanimous recommendation in his favor.

32:07 Governor Lee agreed with that. He said, jelly roll story is remarkable. It's redemptive and powerful, and it's exactly what you look for and hope when considering clemency. Lee, a Republican, has made a tradition of issuing pardons around the holidays, and this year that's still just weird to me. The Ford was one of thirty three granted relief. None of those pardon had conditions involving homicide, sex crime, or offenses against minors as adults. And I think that I agree. I kind of like it around the holidays though, because it's the redemptive story and the Bible is the ultimate story. But it's just kind of a weird. Yeah, I mean, I'm not saying it's bad, it's just strange. I know this for the holidays.

32:55 If you look at jelly Roll's old photos, like his mugshots on you know that's a scary individual. His eyes very individual after nut shot. I don't think so because his eyes in those mugshots look evil, not evil, but they do. He looks angry. He looks like someone who will hurt you. Jelly Roll today has a softness about him. That is absolutely endearing. I would want to hug him. He he just is the proverbial broken individual who turned his life around. And if you can't look at that story and recognize that that's. What we aim for. You know what I'm saying, Well, guess what in a a voice gifted by God.

33:40 Guess what? So many inmates right now, I'm for him, I'm not, but I mean he he had. A lot better shot of succeeding when you've got that kind of money and you have. But he built it. He built he built it, he built it. Inmates are behind bars right now. And I worked at Angola amongst these inmates. And when I'm telling you now, if they would have known their talents when they were out robbing and stealing and killing, they could have been success that the artists are just out the box. Yep. And I agree with this. I'm hard knows about crime, but I agree with this because he is a testament to others that can look up to him and say, hey, I can make that change too. Yeah. I agree. And just before we move on, I did want to say this, why the pardon does not erase the Ford's record. It does restore certain civil rights, including voting with some limitations, and SARS is a stepping stone toward a potential expungement. I would imagine that's coming.

34:35 You know, it eases travel, as we spoke of, and it removes the need for all this extensive paperwork when he does struct. Sure so in a pardon, just for our listeners, make sure you understand this. A pardon is like if you bump into somebody. You don't say, oh, I didn't do it. I didn't do it, You say pardon me. And so that's what he's asking for. He's saying, I'm not saying I didn't do it. I take full responsibility for what happened, but please, if you could just pardon me for what I've done and let me move on. So I think that's pretty cool. This story here is one that has a lot of us in Louisiana kind of are our eyebrows raising, because the State of Louisiana has initiated a comprehensive investigation into fifteen unexpected deaths of inmates at the Elaine Hunt Correctional Center this year, amid growing concerns over and uptick infatalities at the facility.
