0:15 Welcome back, folks, and oh man, do we have a lot of topics to cover today in the world of crime news headlines. Just a quick look at the topics we're going to be discussing. They include an ex husband who is arrested in connection with the double homicide of the Ohio dentist and his wife. In Georgia, a community is mourning the loss of a father of three who was fatally shot in a target parking lot after an argument over a parking space. In Florida, a candidate for governor has caused an uproar nationally when he proposes an only fans syntax to help pay for government programs. Can't wait to get into that story. In Tennessee, suspects are being sought after impersonating police with fake blue lights in a targeted car, a targeted car jacking, a kidnapping, etc.

We're also going to Florida, where a woman is charged with exploiting the camp Mystic flood tragedy through fraud via go fund me, just a despicable example of crime we're going to talk about today. For those of you up north, you're probably laughing right now, but when we get like a half an inch of snow, everything shuts down until it's gone. Oh yeah, we can't be driving in that. Yeah yet her snow. We were done for a week. But look a foot of water, three ft twelve foot of water. We don't care hurricanes. We will freaking that getting our pierro and we just get where we need to get. That's right. We go outside and have a party in a hurricane. But a little bit of frozen water.

And in a shocking development in the there's a shocking development in the tragic deaths of a prominent Ohio dentist and his wife. Authorities have actually arrested the woman's ex husband on the murder charges. So Spencer Tepe, a dentist practicing in Athens, and his wife Monique. Now Spencer's thirty seven. His wife Monique is thirty nine. They were found shot to death in their home. This was on December thirtieth of twenty twenty five. The couple, who had been married for nearly five years, were just one must shy their anniversary, and they left behind two young children who were unharmed and president at the home at the time of the killings.

4:08 And when I say young children I'm talking one year old and four year old in this case. Now, police believed the shootings occurred between two and five pm that morning, with three nine millimeter shell casings were covered from the scene. The bodies were discovered after concerned co workers of Spencer's reported him missing from work that prompted a welfare check. However, initially police responded to the wrong address that delayed the discovery of the bodies for about an hour. Upon correcting the error and entering the home, officers found the victims on the second floor, both deb with gunshot wounds and it was obvious that a violent confrontation occurred. Michael David McKeith, thirty nine, is Monique's ex husband. He was taken into custody on January tenth in Rockford, Illinois. McKee is a vascular surgeon licensed in both California and Illinois and had been married to Monique from twenty fifteen to twenty seventeen.

5:12 Now important thing to mention. He got married to her in twenty fifteen. The marriage only lasted seven months, and it took till twenty seventeen to make that divorce final. Do we know why they divorced? We do. I'm not going to get into that just yet because I've got a podcast coming out on this that you're gonna want to listen to on this entire case. But it was it was an amicable divorce. It wasn't one where one person didn't want it to happen. I'll say that, and I'll say that according to her family, there were a lot of not physical but mental abuse situations going on with her and they weren't even living together when they when they sought a divorce, So regass of that, that was ten years ago and He is now facing two counts of murder. Now, investigators link McKee to the crime through neighborhood surveillance video captured a vehicle arriving at the scene before the homicides and departing after, and evidence confirmed McKee had possession of the vehicle around the time of the incident. The Assistant Chief of Police emphasized the role of the surveillance footage, which included images of a person of interest in a hooded jacket walking through a nearby alley in the morning hours of December thirtieth.

6:32 While police have not publicly confirmed the figures McKee, the video has been pivotal in advancing the case, and numerous tips flooded in from the public after the footage was released, and that aided detectives in kind of narrow down that timeline, etc. A motive for the killing has not been disclosed by authorities, and the case has drawn massive national attention. NBC News reports on a nine one one call trace from the tepe A home eight months prior to the murders, though details of the incident remain unclear and its direct relevance to the homicide has not been established. And I do want to say, they have since established that's not even Monique on that nine one one call. There's a whole reason why that was placed that has nothing at all to do with this case.

7:23 It. I'll also discuss funeral services for Spencer and Monique were held on Sunday, January eleventh, And as I said, they'd leave behind two kids, a one year old and a four year old. At the prime of your life and dead by an next husband allegedly that you were married to ten years prior, something you don't hardly ever see. Yeah, and then they didn't have shared children, correct, This was the children were both the new husband. Yes, and you rob those babies. You robbed the babies, those babies, it's an interesting case. And that, uh, and the babies were home, correct, So and that what it said, babies were home. So he went in with zero regard for these children, I mean, murder.

8:07 Anything, even knew they existed. I'm sure he did. If you're willing to go kill somebody, you're very invested in them. I have that feeling. Yeah, I mean I don't know, but I would assume if I'm willing to go plan the double homicide that I know about them, well. He probably did, probably saw him on Facebook. And you know, that's the one thing with social media today, you can you can keep track of an ex spouse. But the strange thing with this case is that in that ten year time frame, since they've been divorce over a decade. In that ten year timeframe, there is no evidence that has come out that they've even come across each other. H Usually when you see an ex husband murder a wife or an ex wife, it's a situation where custody's involved, or it's a situation where you're paying alimony. I mean, they were married seven moths. There's not a lot of assets that they had together in a seven month time period where that would be the case anyway, but certainly not the case ten years later. Usually there's a trigger somewhere. Now, he didn't live He lived states over from these people at this point in time, and he has not lived in Columbus for quite a while.

9:20 So he traveled multiple states to go do this. Well, he's born in Columbus, Ohio area, and that's where he's from, and so the thought process is there's a possibility he was already in town because he was his parents lived there. He just didn't live there, but it's right after Christmas, it's right before New Year's. You're probably in town for Christmas with your family, and. You would think ten years property settlements already been handled. I mean, there's nothing that would have there. There was not even that. They don't even have property to get I'm. Just trying to figure out that what hits you ten years later, that you're like something triggered, you got to go. Yeah, And that's what that's what we're trying to get down to. You know, sometimes you get triggered just by seeing someone. And I'm saying if you're crazy, not if you're a normal person. But there have been cases where people have been divorced for quite a while and they come across each other just in passing and some something is triggered. This is just not your normal case, because this guy was not your normal Parbatly's a freaking vascular surgeon.

10:22 And he got a jaw on him son. Look, he looks like he's in a in a Disney movie. He's like got the Gaston jaw going on. Yeah, I don't I don't get it. It's so strange a ten year gap and then to go, but the babies are new and maybe that was it, like these babies are newer to the thing, and maybe he's mad that she moved on. Not only that, but now she's had children with someone else. You never, I mean, I don't know, I'm guessing. How bizarre? Yeah, absolutely bizarre. And those poor children because you can look at these two and they're in love and they have these new babies and then won't get to see him grow. That's it, Yeah, it is. And a lot of people have asked about the children. They are with family now that you know, she had siblings, and those siblings are with them now and so they're not with you know, state care or anything like that, thank god. But certainly doesn't replace your parents.

11:14 Absolutely all right, now you want to talk about a total waste, you know, and life is fleeting this story. He really hammers that home. A thirty three year old Army veteran and father of three young children was killed in a senseless shooting in it the parking lot of a Target store after the argument over a parking space. And this is going to be in Savannah, Georgia. And this occurred Sunday, January fourth, when Savannah Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at a target. Upon arrival, they found Matthew Trewick suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services transported him to Memorial Health University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Treywick was described by loved ones as a devoted father and husband. He had served in the Army from twenty fifteen to twenty twenty three as an Unmanned aircraft systems repairer stationed at an airfield in Savannah. He worked as a car salesman at Vaden Automotives, specifically the Vaden Nissan, where colleagues remembered him fondly. In a heartfelt Facebook post shared around Father's Day, Treywoock had expressed his joy in fatherhood, noting how his children would excitedly shout Daddy, Daddy, daddy whenever he returned home from work. Police identified the suspect as Tyler Edwin Lynn, thirty years old, and he had remained at the scene after the shooting, but was later taken into or was then taken into custody when they got there. He faced his charges of murder and aggravated assault the Chatham County Detention Center is holding him and the case has been transferred to Superior Court following and initial appearance, and it's not clear yet if the two men knew each other

12:45 prior to the confrontation, although authorities have indicated the dispute stemmed from an argument over a parking spot, possibly involving a handicapped or compact space, according to some witness accounts. The Savannah Mayer condemned the tragedy and social meetings, saying go out to the family and the loved ones of the victim. No disagreement over a parking space or anything else should ever end in the loss of life, and he described the incident as needless, unnecessary gun violence and called for community reflection on escalating everyday conflicts. In the aftermath, friends and family launched to go fund me campaign to help support Treywick's wife, Michaela, and their three young children. He was the sole provider for the household, and the fundraiser describes this loss as unimaginable, but it's raised significant support to help with emotional and financial hardships during this time, and Treywick is remembered as a dedicated veteran, a family man and hardworking individual. Whose life was tragically cut short over something as ordinary as a parking space. And we do want to give a shout out here to listener Jill Baxley for bringing the story to us. 13:56 And let me say a couple of things on this, but obviously it goes without saying totally senseless parking spot is not worth your life. I understand it can be frustrating for someone to park in a handicap when they are not handicap, but I think that society has a whole needs to grasp the fact that you never know who you're dealing with, and there are some people out there that are just tot of freaking morons and they don't know how to have a conversation without yanking a gun and shooting somebody is if that makes him some sort of a man in this case, so a good a good dad with kids. You know, he lost his life over that. And I've listened to a lot of podcasts with Navy seals and people that could kill you as quick as a look at you and wouldn't think twice with their hands. And you ask them what they're going to do in a situation like that, and they say run. They they are not going to sit there and try to fight some or argue with somebody over that someone smarts off to you, and you got to You got the opportunity to get out of there. Get out of there. Just get out of there. Doesn't make you any more of a man to stay in your ground on something like that, because it's ridiculous and stupid, and you don't know who you're dealing with.

15:14 And we're not victim blaming here, you know, obviously we don't know what. Happened, and we don't know which side of that, yeah, you know which side. Did he park in a handicap or did the other guy? We don't know. Just the tragedy of the whole situation is just it'sarking crazy. You know. I watched a video on TikTok recently. I'm sure it's an old video, but it says, when you think you're a big man and you're mouthing off, but you have no clue who you're mouthing off to, and it's at a baseball game and there's two people obviously mouthing off, and one of them is this real handsome he looks kind of hispanic. I could be wrong, but anyway, and he just starts smiling at the guy that's doing the you know, the thug in it in his face, and he just starts smiling. He goes okay, pal okay, and he turns around and he starts walking back down the stairs, and then boom.

15:56 He's a boxer. He's a freaking boxer. He would have knocked that dude's head off his shoulders. And that dude had no clue. He had no he had no clue. But you know, the point of that is on both sides of that. Also, the boxer had no clue if that guy was armed and he yanked out a gun and just blunt his head clean off. It happens. It happens, especially these days. I see it a lot with red rage incidents. Yeah. Hey, look, those kids now have no father and a wife has lost a loving husband. And in a world rider yeah, and in a world where most marriages or you know, half of them fail, this is just a tragedy all the way around. It's a tragedy that a family has lost their daddy. Those kids no longer have a father figure, and their lives are all right.

16:43 Let's go to Florida and who they've got some people pissed off in the only fans industry. Leak Tiller tell you about this, and you may be surprised my thoughts on this one. Have you been on only fans? Jim, I have been on only fans? You have a for research for research purposes. Only research purposes. One. I hear that had a case I was doing that. I had to check it out. I hear you, Yeah, I've never been that. I realized they build me and I was like, oh shit, I need. I need, I needed not I had to pay for this video. I've never been on it. I'm going now, guys, right now. Well we're gonna go at Florida, and I'm going to tell you about a Republican candidate vying to succeed Governor Ron Desanis in Florida's twenty twenty six gubernatorial race, and he has sparked widespread controversy with a bold proposal to impose a fifty percent what he calls a syntax on earnings from a subscription platform OnlyFans targeting what he called online debauchery. Hey like that. James Fishback, a political newcomer positioning himself as a conservative voice, unveiled the plan in a January twelfth, twenty twenty six, interview on a right wing YouTube channel. He'd describe the tax as the first of its kind measure to be pushed into his first year as governor, arguing both deter young women from creating adult content and generate hundreds of millions of dollars in

Quote, if you are a so called OnlyFans creator in Florida, you are going to pay fifty percent to the state on whatever you call fifty earned, yes, fifty percent syntax earned via on that online platform. Fishback stated he framed the policy as a moral imperative, saying it is just called a syntax because it's the sin number one. The purpose of a syntax in economics is to decentivize and deter behavior. Fishback added he does not want young women who could otherwise be mothers raising family to sell their bodies to sick men online. The proposal drew immediate backlash, including a sharp response from an OnlyFans creator named Sophie Rain, who is one of the platform's top earners. Fishback directly tagged Rain in a post saying, Hey, Sophie Rain, pay up or quit Only Fans is Florida Governor, I will not allow a generation of smart and capable young women to sell their bodies online. Rain fired back sarcastically on X, calling the idea of the dumbest thing I've ever heard of, and suggesting Fishback was a quote clout chaser motivated by attention rather than policy. In an interview where with where the buzz Is, she dismissed the proposal out right, noting she has lived in Florida her entire adult life and has never even heard of this guy. Florida has no

19:46 state personal income tax, relying on sales tax, property tax, and other levies, which has made it attractive to digital entrepreneurs and content creators, including many on Only Fans. Implementing a targeted fifty percent tax on a specific platform earning would be unprecedented and faces significant legal and practical hurdles, including questions about enforcement, the definition of Only Fans income, and potential constitutional challenges. Yeah, so, I have some questions here and again, I'm not attacking anything moral right now, I'm just looking at the tax I'm curious. So if you film yourself having sex, then it's okay and we'll tax at fifty percent. So does that mean that if a prostitute on the street just films it then it's okay. Now, No, as long as she just creates.

Some of them don't have sex just toes. Some of them don't have sex. No, And this is absolutely freaking ridiculous. Yeah, I'm doing First of all, the government regulating anything, in my opinion, is a bad thing as it relates to someone's business, and it's not a morality thing. Or any of them. Are any of them having sex with a man like on film on Only Fans? Sure? Are some of them of their husbands? Yeah? So why is it just just attacking women? What about the men?

I'm sure they make up the vast majority. There's I'm sure a lot of men on there too, but it's probably seven to ye. I'm well versed on OnlyFans. I'll just come out here and. Say that I'm not either, but I can. I can tell you that I. Just don't like that that you would employ a fifty percent tax on anything. I don't like that. Yeah, I don't either. And I think that the guard you know him calling it it may be a sin in his book, it may not be a sin in somebody else's book.

You let a girl know I but and don't boom that out. Leave it for the people. No, leave it for the people. I don't. I just uh, I don't. I don't. While I love Florida and I love a lot of the things that they do, I don't know that I like this one simply because I don't agree with with that much tax on anything. I don't. I'm someone who doesn't like taxes at that rate.

I mean, I'm just kind of like. Well, that's illegal. You're conflating something illegal with something this is legal. But I know, but I'm saying sin like the word sin. Well, honey, all you're going to do then is piss off the people who don't agree number one and number two. These women are then gonna go find other avenues.

24:48 So we're gonna go to Memphis, Tennessee, and authorities in Shelby County are searching for multiple suspects who posed as law enforcement officers using fake red and blue emergency lights to pull over, jack, and briefly kidnap a man in a calculated, targeted attack this past Sunday. So According to the Sheriff's office, the victim was entering his neighborhood when he was stopped by dark colored mid mid sized sedan equipped at these lights specifically associated with police vehicles, and Chief Deputy Anthony Buckner described the sequences of events by saying the victim complied with the suspects commands stepped out of his vehicle. He was then allegedly attacked, forced back into his own car, and driven to his residents by two suspects out of an estimated three that were in total that were involved, and the suspects are believed to have known the victim personally, leading investigators to classify the crime as targeted rather than random. The victim managed to escape from the suspects later that evening, which means they spent some time together and sought help at a nearby business.

25:49 Witnesses who observed the suspicious traffic stop prompted call promptly called nine to one one, prompting a response from deputies. A pursuit ensued on the highway involving the vehicle that contained the kidnapp man. The suspects remain at large, and the dark colored sedan used to impersonate a law enforcement vehicle has not been recovered. No descriptions of the individuals have been released publicly, and the victim's identity is being withheld for privacy and safety reasons. This was not a random act. Chief Deputy Buckner emphasized in his statements, we believe the suspects knew the victim, so he urged community members to remain vigilant, particularly when encountering unmarked vehicles attempting traffic stops. In light of the incident, authorities have reiterated safety advice for drivers who suspect they may be being pulled over by a potential impost drive to a well lit public area such as a fire station, police precinct, or busy business, stay inside the vehicle and call nine one one to verify the legitimacy of the stop. Activate hazard lights, and proceed slowly if necessary. This investigation is ongoing, with detectives actively working to identify and locate the suspects and the impersonating vehicle. And to that note, I want every listener to know this, especially in our age group, right, we're what in our forties we were brought up, thank you, Yeah, you're welcome. Actually, in my fifties, that's okay, that's okay, we'll roll it.

And it almost scared me when I was a kid to think about dialing nine one, almost like you're doing something wrong. But the reality of nine one one is these operators are there to help you. And if you're afraid, or let's say you're pulled over on a desolate road. Even let's say it's a legitimate cop pulling you over on a desolate road, you can slow down so it doesn't look like you're being chased. Dial nine one one and tell them, Hey, I'll be Can you tell the officer I'm pull it over at a Walmart or something like that? They will, I know, and I know what you're saying. And I know, look, I know you don't forgot more about nine one one than I could ever know about nine one one. But I could say this for maybe for a female, that will work. But if Jim Chapman gets lights behind it and he don't stop when I pull over, I'm getting yanked out that car. And why were you running?

28:06 And well that's why you slow down. Though you slow down, you dial and that operator listen to me. I'm telling you that operator can rate can verify that that's a legitimate unit pulling you over, and she can tell him right there. You know, you know five point thirty three, you know you your person's gonna be pulling over at the circle K a mile and a half up the road, and acknowledges that you're pulling him over, and that's fine one hundred percent. And that is what you should do. I'm just saying I've seen some situations where or I've heard of some situations where people have they didn't call nine one one, but maybe they were continuing to go to pull into like a gas station or something like that, and it not end up getting dude. I got my ass chewed out by a cop one time, right here in Walker, Louisiana. I was eighteen years old.

28:50 I was driving down the road and when I was about to turn into the walmart, that's when I saw the lights behind me. So I just pulled over into the walmart and then I pull I drove to park like. I didn't stop right there in the driveway because it didn't seem safe to me, just because of passing cars, not because I'm a bad person, maybe, but that's not what I was thinking. And that dude jumped inn ground. He was a young car. He chewed my Why didn't you pull over as soon as you saw my lights? I was like, bro, I wasn't a turning lane. I didn't, you know, Like I was trying to go, but I didn't know, I didn't know, and he man, he read me the riot accty and. That shouldn't happen. Yeah, that's that's not good. And you know, in this situation, the scary thing is they had blue lights, and blue lights are for those that don't know, if you're rolling red and white lights, that's okay, you're not a cop. Cops only rolled blue lights, and so if you see blue lights, it's indicative of a cop, typically a police officer, but in this case not.

There's there's someone behind, especially if you're female. I mean ninety nine percent of the time it's a cop. But it only takes that one percent for things to go around like this. Yeah, like this situation. And we're friends, you and I both, we're friends with a lot of cops. And even if especially when we think about young drivers, young girls, you pull over a little bit further down the road. You're not running, you pull over. I mean, most of these gentlemen you know have kids or recognize the fact that you know, we're in a different environment today and you're okay. It's okay to protect your life and to feel safe in what in the interaction. Just be smart about it, don't take off, and don't be crazy.
