Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Team Canada athlete Evan Dunfee

Evan Dunfee is the fastest walker I know! He wanted to go to the Olympic Games from the age of 9 and started race walking at the age of 10. At the 2016 Olympics he place 4th in the 50km race walk, then was upgraded to third after a disqualification from a Japanese racer, but then an appeal reinstated the disqualified racer and our guest let the results stand keeping 4th place.

He’s a Pan American Games gold medalist, World Athletics world championship bronze medalist, a 2x World Race Walking Team Championship silver medalist with his Canadian Teammates and has qualified for the Tokyo Games. We DROP IN with Evan on E. 33.
