His heart journey continued with an implanted defibrillator that shocked his heart back to life eight times and eventually led to a successful transplant. Jonathan’s story is both raw and inspiring. Jonathan Bogner is a film and television producer, storyteller and extraordinary survivor. After selling his movie at Sundance, he endured two massive strokes, heart failure and aphasia that changed his life forever. He refused to give up and went on to produce multiple films with studios attached and reality television projects. A heart transplant recipient whose journey taught him empathy and resilience, Jonathan now shares personal stories to inspire others to live with purpose. Through his work at PersonalStories.net and his ongoing creative ventures Jonathan encourages rigorous optimism and service to others.
