Probably the most intellectually challenging podcast out there

This podcast strikes an amazing balance between asking the deep questions that motivate and steer people working on AI - or other related fields - and carefully deconstructing the theory in the interviewee’s field, always trying to break thing down into plain English where possible. There are some true gems that stem from this dynamic. Lex makes the interviewee constantly switch from analytical to intuitive thinking, allowing for incredibly unique answers and insights on the go. Furthermore, the passion that flows into the podcast is evident and the guest list could probably not be more illustrious. TLDR; Great, passionate Interviewer. Great interview techniques, amazing guest list. Inspirational.

I have no prior knowledge of AI but through Lex’s podcast have ignited a true passion and interest for the subject. Before listening, I admit, I was fearful of the impact that AI is going to have on all of our futures. Lex does a great job of making a complex subject not only accessible, but incredibly engaging. Listening to him and his guests ‘wrestle’ with these complex ideas from a human perspective is super entertaining. This podcast has been my little escape during this time of uncertainty. I hope you can also take some solace in it. Lex, thanks for making me excited about a future with AI. Joe

Amazing podcast. Lex, I greatly appreciate your humbleness, openness and curiosity. Great podcast for all knowledge levels of technology. You inspired me to take a master degree in digitalization in business and challenge myself physically, first fight soon. All love!

I wish all science outreach hosts interviewed their guests with as much intelligence as Lex does. He knows their work, he asks the questions that help nail what guests have to say, yet keeping it as simple as possible despite how deep and fundamental these subjects may be. Lex has a maturity that most will never get. He does not brag and put himself forward, he does not fall for the mundane and vulgar. I guess he’s got nothing to prove, he knows his stuff, he puts the work to learn outside his comfort zone. He’s the boss.

Scope of subjects, quality of questions and guests, production ... To think this is a side gig for Lex is humbling. Thanks!

Is just a most fantastic podcast. The interviewed range from a host of fully technical to fully philosophical people. Great questions and interviewing style!

Lex is a sublime interviewer and asks just the right questions that are simple enough so that bums like me can understand complicated scientific ideas. Easily a must listen to, even if you harbour the slightest bit of scientific wonder!

It’s hard to make something relaxing and both stimulate you mentally, but Lex manage to do that. With extremely competent people they guide the listeners through a calm and interesting conversation with a nice flow.

Yet to come across a more relatable podcast on AI. Thanks for creating and continuing. More power to you.

Lex has confidence to ask unique questions, and follows the flow of his interesting guests really well. Also shows very low ego - the guests come off as brilliant although he is as well.

Always considerate of his listeners by not obtruding the flow.
