I'll be honest I didn't realize until I started recording this episode how fired up I would get. This episode is a bit longer but it's a subject close to my heart. I am a recovering perfectionist. But if you are striving for that perfect 10, you will end up missing out on all that comes after 10.
Brene' Brown says, "Healthy striving is self-focused: How can I improve? Perfectionism is other-focused: What will people think?"
I am going to put that on a card and set it on my desk so I can read it every day. I have to remind myself how to have the healthy striving mindset daily.
