About Mat Zucker
Mat is executive producer and host of Cidiot.
A writer whose first job was as a copywriter creating radio commercials and, later, an early innovator in creating podcast for brands, Mat is currently a senior partner at a global growth consultancy. A former agency chief creative officer, he is author of Bronze Seeks Silver: Lessons from A Creative Career in Marketing, and his essays have appeared in The Bark, Chelsea Now, New York Press, Contently, The Forward, MarketingProfs as well as Forbes.com. Mat speaks frequently at industry conferences and has been on stage doing Cidiot storytelling at Hudson Valley's "The Porch."
In addition to Cidiot, Mat also co-hosts "Rising," a podcast about marketing careers with Josh Boaz of Direct Agents and has been a guest on other shows, including The BeanCast, The Content Experience Show and Let's Talk Marketing. Mat and his husband Brian live in New York's Hudson Valley with their dog Nora Ephron and tweets regularly.
