Episode 22: Katarina Garcia – Designing athleisure apparel for Katsey women

This episode features Katarina Garcia, a fashion designer & competitive tennis player who combined those passions to launch Katsey, her new athleisure apparel line for women ages 40 and older. Katarina discusses how she navigated the challenges leading up to her clothing line’s launch, and how she used LinkedIn to build business relationships with executives and venture capitalists, which ultimately led to a deal with the new fashion division of Amazon. She also shares her plans to use Katsey to support a much bigger dream that’s very close to her heart: preventing domestic violence through youth education.
