Navy women's lacrosse advanced to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals by winning a pair of nail biters last weekend. Sixth-seeded Navy rallied from a four-goal deficit to defeat Massachusetts, 10-9, in the first round then came back from six goals down to beat Syracuse, 11-10 in overtime, in the second round. Navy Women's Lacrosse Insider Ingrid Boyum breaks down the two thrillers and looks ahead to Thursday's matchup with third-seeded Maryland in College Park.

Navy women's lacrosse repeated as Patriot League Tournament champions and earned automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Navy women's golf three-peated as Patriot League Tournament champions. Emma Tang was the individual medalist as the Midshipmen continued their mini dynasty. Tang and head coach Kylee Baker join the podcast to talk about the program's tremendous run of success. We also talk to Navy men's tennis coach Chris Garner about beating archrival Army in the Star match for the 10th straight season.

Ingrid Boyum makes her debut as the Navy Women's Lacrosse Insider for the Anchors Aweigh podcast. Boyum is a former standout goalkeeper for Navy and has maintained close ties to the program since graduating in 2018. We discuss the epic victory over archrival Army in the Star game and the 2026 season as a whole. Also, head coach Chuck Ristano joins to provide an update on the Navy baseball season as Patriot League play winds down.

McKinnon, a former star attackman for Navy and 2002 academy graduate, provides expert analysis and insight on the program. Heary, a former Navy great and longtime color commentator for Navy basketball radio broadcasts, brings unique insight and analysis.

The Midshipmen are one win away from capturing their first outright Patriot League regular season championship since 1997. We also talk to Navy women's lacrosse senior attacker Anna Gotterup, whose older brother is a rising star on the PGA Tour.
