When you're getting over your trauma, you have to be aware of your trauma and its effect in work and personal relationships. In the United States, anxiety disorders are by far the most common and pervasive mental diseases. The amygdala, a brain area that assesses emotions and produces chemicals that control the fight-or-flight response, is in the epicenter of the action. Understanding anxiety disorders' origins, symptoms, and aggravating variables are the first step toward eliminating this undesirable habit.
