Fear of others- other people, other ideas, other things- become like dark veils which obscure our consciousness. As they part, we develop Love for another human, strangers, animals, plants, minerals until we apprehend it is all a unified cosmos. It's analogous to the mechanism in analysis (breaking data into pieces) vs. synthesis (unifying knowledge into grander facts).
