Moe Hachem is an entrepreneur whose family has been in the textile industry for over 40 years. Sneaker Impact was founded based on years of my own experience in the textile recycling industry. 87% of Americans don’t recycle, let alone their sneakers. Our mission is to help spread awareness and encourage more Americans to recycle. 300 million pairs of footwear end up in landfills every year. Sneakers don’t have to end up in a landfill, they can be recycled and reused by someone who needs them.
