After realizing all the bad things in the industry, she realized that that was a lack of education of business practices. To transform the fashion industry, she established Factory45. Shannon has worked with over 500 entrepreneurs in the sustainable fashion space, many of whom have gone on to launch some of the most transparent supply chains in the fashion industry. Due to her advocacy and push for sustainability, Shannon has been named a thought leader for the future of fashion and was nominated as a "Woman of Note" by the Wall Street Journal.
