In the face of these hardships, the Apostle Peter speaks of hope.

Well, this doesn't mean that all of our suffering will vanish.

Just as Jesus' sufferings led to resurrection, so too will our trials be followed by glory.

Now we often place our hope in things that can't sustain us, like a new job, more education, or even a new year.
