WOW what a story - such a unique history to be sharing. I’ve been really moved by the episodes so far, I feel like I’m discovering a whole world through Lidia.
Wow! I started a the beginning and got sucked in. And the format makes it so easy to follow the story in one listening or break it into easily listened to parts. You can feel the documentary-NPR vibe...which is perfect given the material.
I love podcasts that widen my horizons and teach me new things in a gentle, interesting and concise way. Thank you to Tara for doing all of that! I learned about the Bahai religion, about Esperanto, and about Lidia Zamenhof’s fascinating life.
The episode about Lydia’s father was fascinating! I learned so much about his challenges and innovations—especially the concept of an international language! Such an informative and interesting podcast!
I really enjoyed learning about this incredible woman and look forward to hearing more about Lydia and her experiences, as well as other women in future seasons. Tara does a great job taking her previous experience into the Podcast world!
This is fascinating! I love the concept of learning about different women throughout history. This current season has drawn me in from Episode 1 and I look forward to hearing more!
I had never heard of Lidia before this podcast, and I just want to say thank you for teaching me. I feel like you don’t hear stories like this a lot, so I definitely appreciate it. Awesome!
Wow. Thank you for creating a space where we can learn about the importance of what women have created and paved for the future generations. I am a firm believer that we must learn from our history to make change. And also all the content is very easy to follow. I will be sharing it with my girlfriends.

What a gorgeous gift that Tara gives us in her introduction to Lidia. This podcast chaned my opnion on the depth available through a podcast. I've subscribed, happily.
I absolutely love the idea behind this podcast. I had not heard of Lidia, but I listened to her whole story and feel that I’ve been given a gift to learn about her. I now want to learn more about the Esperanti language and the Baha’i faith.
This was an incredibly informative podcast. I LOVE the idea of doing a deep dive into one woman’s life. This is so incredibly important in a world that is focused mostly on the history of men. I absolutely loved this. Thank you for sharing Lidia with the world.
What a lovely podcast about this interesting woman- I enjoyed the episodes very much and am happy to see the Bahai Faith being talked out- out family is Bahai and it is always wonderful to come across stories like these.
The concept for the podcast is so unique. I love how we get to learn so much about Lilly Jabbari. It doesn’t feel like school, but a delightful way to learn.
It was interesting listening to the early life of this historic woman. I had never heard about her and was intrigued by her story. I love the idea of how language bonds people together even though at the time it was the biggest barrier between them. Now, I'm going down a Google rabbit hole to learn about Esperanto.
I love the idea behind this podcast and the way in which you cover an influential woman. Diving in a little more each episode is a great way for listeners to soak in the person and their journey.
I’m such a history nerd, I was so happy to stumble on this show! Thank you so much for telling these stories I’ve never heard of! Tara does a great job at making it feel personal and interesting and not too academic, thank you!
