After a 15 year hiatus, Paul Vato reconnects with "Uncle Chris", one of the brilliant minds behind the wild success of MADtv. They chat about how a chance encounter with Day Aykroyd changed the trajectory of his life forever and what writing on SCTV was like. Mr. Cluess is a producer and writer, known for MADtv (1995), SCTV Network (1981), The Simpsons (1989) and Night Court (1984).
Mr. Cluess served as executive producer in a total of 46 episodes of Night Courtin the final two seasons of the series, beginning with the two episode story arc, the episodes "A Family Affair (Part 1), and "A Family Affair (Part 2)".
Chris also wrote a total of nine episodes, beginning with the Season 1 episode titled "Quadrangle of Love". Chris has, in addition to his work on Night Court, also would serve as the supervising producer for the long-running FOX-TV sketch comedy series MADtv, as a consulting producer for the 1999-2001 Showtime cable TV Comedy/Drama series Beggars and Choosers, and as executive producer for both the NBC-TV series Madman of the People, and the FOX-TV series Molloy.
Whilst at MADtv he coined the term, “The Chicago Mooch Is On”!
