The New Podcast Website for They Will See - Podcast Edition
Welcome to the new Podcast Website for They Will See - Podcast Edition. This podcast website has a several new features that I'm excited to share with you:
New Look and Feel!
The new podcast site has given me more control over the look, feel and content. I hope you like it, and you are more than welcome to submit suggestions for ways I could improve this website design to make it prettier and easier to use. Website design is a hobby of mine. This site is designed to look good and be easy to use both on a computer and on a smartphone, and I appreciate your feedback on ways to make it better.
Leave a Voice Message and Other Ways to Interact!
One of the best new features is a voice-recording button in the bottom-right-hand corner of the site. It looks like a microphone on a green circle. Click that button in order to record a voice message. My producer and I can even take your voice recording and feature it on a future episode as we respond to your question or comment!
Also included are a contact form and new e-mail addresses for show host and producer (which will be announced on future episodes).
Podcast Player Subscribe Links
During the time I had stuck in Northern California, I had time to work on a few instructional videos for how to subscribe to this podcast. I cannot list it publicly on podcast directories, but if you click the appropriate podcast player link, you will find an easy to follow YouTube video showing you how to subscribe with that player.
There's also a sign-up form to subscribe to my newsletter, for those of you who prefer written communication. See also Youtube videos for how to subscribe on Mac OS and Windows (with a podcast app or with an e-mail program).
Built-in Sharing Functions!
If you've listened to this podcast for long, you've heard warnings not to share this podcast or contents without my permission. But the fact is I actually do depend on your help sharing this podcast, just it has to be done in limited, secure contexts with the right people rather than just publicly with whoever. This website has built in links and pages for asking my permission to share and for sharing once you've received that permission. I encourage you to think creatively about who you could share this podcast with, in order to increase the number of people following and praying for the Fayu ministry. These could include small groups like Bible Studies, MOPS chapters, or missions committees, Sunday School classes, or your family. Also, private church social media groups and private messages can work.

But why the secrecy? Well, it's actually not really secrecy exactly. I have the blessing of being able to work openly as a missionary with a missionary identity and visa on my field, so actually I do not have to hide what I'm doing, but let me put it this way: we live in an increasingly connected and increasingly sensitive world in which seemingly harmless things we post online in one context can easily resurface in the future in very destructive ways for our jobs and relationships, even if they were not intended to be offensive and were not offensive in the original time, situation, and audience. The nature of my work as a faith-based missionary combines the need to communicate with a large number of people about my experiences, work, and relationships while at the same time being very careful about saying anything that might be offensive to other people and cause problems down the road. It helps to be wise not just in what we say but who we say it to, and you can help with that.
Links, Blog Posts, and More...
This website also features a "Links" page that shows podcasts, organization websites, books, and more for further reading and awareness of my own ministry and the world of global missions. There's also a blog included that will feature great conversation-starting thoughts and posts from other mission organizations and sites.
I hope this site makes following with my ministry and my podcast easier and more exciting with the result that you are better informed, inspired, and engaged in the Fayu ministry and in the greater task of helping make sure that God gets the praise He is due from every tribe, tongue, nation, and people on Earth as the grace that is reaching more and more people causes thanksgiving to overflow to His glory among them (cf the end of 2 Cor 4).
