Skout is Laura Valk and Connor Gladney, a Brooklyn-based duo that plays indie-folk with restless edge. The pair met on an East Village stoop over coffee in late 2014. The next night, they played their first show together as Skout. The band has independently amassed over 1 million Spotify streams, landed on both Spotify’s USA and Canada Viral charts, and their music has been featured on MTV’s Catfish and NBC’s Today Show. Valk is proud to produce and edit most of the band’s audio and video content.
