Evil dies tonight? Not quite. This week, Jerry Horror returns to Haddon...uh, a very familiar small town built entirely on a sound stage, where the screams are fake but the disappointment is real. The franchise’s masked menace takes his sweet time showing up (38 minutes and 41 seconds, to be exact) making this the longest game of hide-and-seek in slasher history.
With only three kills to his name, our favorite boogeyman seems to have traded his knife for nap time, while a new bad boy named Corey steals the spotlight (and maybe the franchise’s blackened heart). Meanwhile, our beloved scream queen bows out after six decades and seven rounds of trauma, turtlenecks, and total survivalist energy.
