The wait is over! Jerry Horror finally gets to sit down with someone he's been highly anticipating having on The Offering: horror critic, writer, podcaster, filmmaker, and self-proclaimed keeper of the macabre Zena Dixon, better known to horror fans as the Real Queen of Horror.

A co-host of the official Bloody Disgusting Podcast, Zena has spent more than a decade exploring horror movies, urban legends, terrifying media, and all the wonderfully weird corners of the genre. Her work has also made its way onto the shelves of horror fans, including an essay for the Blu-ray release of The Guest, along with hosting special features and panel discussions for boutique physical media releases.
But this isn't just a royal audience. Jerry and Zena go straight down the rabbit hole discussing one of their favorite guilty pleasures: terrible movie sequels they absolutely love. The kind of sequels that make you ask, "Who thought this was a good idea?" before immediately pressing play again.
And then there's the treasure vault. Zena opens up her very own Criterion Collection, sharing her physical media recommendations and the horror films she believes deserve a permanent place on your shelf. Expect cult classics, questionable sequels, and plenty of horror nerd discourse.
Two horror obsessives. One very deep rabbit hole. And enough physical media recommendations to make your wallet scream.
Long live the Real Queen of Horror! 👑🩸📀
