And let's talk about Long Island for a second. Of COURSE you're from Long Island, Jerry. That explains the attitude. You have the energy of a guy who argues with a cashier at a 7-11, cuts people off in traffic, and then tells everyone he's the smartest person in the room. I can practically hear the accent through the headphones. Everything's a wisecrack, everybody else is an idiot, and somehow the guy who thinks Maniac is a masterpiece is the only person qualified to talk about movies. Take it easy, tough guy. You're hosting a horror podcast not running the Gambino crime family.

Here's the funny part, I wasn't even thinking about you until somebody told me you were thinking about me. I wrote a review. You turned it into content. You needed a punching bag for an episode, and apparently Marcus McCracken was available. Well, congratulations Jerry. You got your segment. Hope it was worth it.

So here's my review of The Offering with Jerry Horror: 1 star. Condescending host, tired jokes, and a whole lot of self importance. The production might be better than Maniac but the performance is just as unsettling and not in a good way.

Keep enjoying your movies, Jerry. Keep doing your podcast. Keep telling yourself you're the ultimate authority on horror. And the next time you want to read one of my reviews on your show at least have the guts to remember that there's an actual person on the other side of that Amazon username.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch a movie without a guy from Long Island explaining why my opinion is wrong.
