The Film Effect Podcast

The Film Effect Podcast is a weekly show that’s 100% dedicated to the art & history of film. It’s the culmination of one’s love for cinema…

Each week, hosts Ed & Corey take a particular film and give it what we call “The Film Effect Treatment”: our version of a deep-dive that goes above & beyond to cover additional areas you typically wouldn’t get with a regular movie podcast!

Sure, we can be like everyone else and just share our detailed thoughts over a scene-by-scene analysis, but with every episode we also:
*Break down box office information (including numbers and how it did financially against other films released the same time)
*Discuss where we were when we first saw the movie
*Describe what we would change about the movie if we had a crystal ball
*Pick another film we’d partner the episode’s movie up with as a double feature
*Provide ounces of trivia
*We even share our own top five lists in conjunction with the movie we’re talking about!

We want listeners to walk away from each episode knowing all there is to know about the movie we just gave our patented “Film Effect Treatment” to…and then some.

Get to know the films you adore, a little more, with The Film Effect Podcast: Deep Dives, Top Fives, and Good Vibes (all for the Film Effect archives)
