Bill Blair and Nate Erskine-Smith announce they will be leaving their federal seats, the first to take on a diplomatic role as the High Commissioner to the U.K. and the latter to take a second run at the leadership of the Ontario Liberal Party.
This, of course, that means that there will be by-elections. The Liberals have already named their candidates for the ones to take place in the ridings once held by Chrystia Freeland and Bill Blair, and in the latter case, it has caused the NDP to swell up and fall apart.
The CPC's Jamil Jivani appears to have gone rogue and taken it upon himself to speak for Canada in the U.S. Nobody, it seems, asked him to. Not even Pierre...
Speaking of the Alleged Leader of His Majesty's Most Disloyal Opposition, his meeting with the PM appears to indicate that the tonal change makeover is already crumbling because... He. Just. Can't. Help. Himself.
