DESCRIPTION: Today is Election Day! Please do democracy and vote. If you have difficulty making it to a polling station, call your candidate's office. They often have volunteers on voting day who can arrange transportation.
And don't forget your ID (proof of name and proof of residence).
A profoundly tragic event in Vancouver, resulting in the taking of nearly a dozen lives, causes the campaigns to radically shift strategy and tone. What should normally be a frenetic race to the finish, is tempered by somber clouds.
