Im 43 y/o, transfemale, married w 3 kids. I have been a paramedic and firefighter x25 yrs. I was forced out of my fire dept after coming out as trans and took a year and a half to focus on my writing and art. I make mixed media/collage pieces as well as pen/pencil drawing. I am also a photographer. i have shown my work in multiple galleries in the past 18months. my art is my vehicle for discussing my PTSD, gender dysphoria, self injury, and eating disorder. i write a regular newspaper column and am a poet. i am currently enrolled in nursing school, have a bachelors in aviation from ohio state, play guitar/bass, and enjoy collecting music/comics, and reading.
