The Great Escape Room - Kiman Agee

You'll hear more laughs in this episode than any previous episode of the ROCC Pod.  That's because our guest, Kiman Agee of The Great Escape Room, can really roll with the punches.  He's an actor, and his ad-lib skills are unmatched.

We start by asking him to explain the concept of an escape room. Then we get into the specific rooms he offers in Royal Oak.  They include Poker Night at the President's Bunker as well as Infirmary: Surgical Crisis, and Moriarty's Game Room.

What differentiates The Great Escape Room from its competition is the experience. Kiman explains how he interacts with his guests, and really needs to read the room.  Do the guests want help? If so, he offers unlimited hints.  If not, he can be more hands off.  And can he tease the guests, or are they more of a buttoned-up group? Every scenario is different.

Kiman shows his ability to think quickly on his feet, as he fends off questions from Andrea about making the rooms actually dangerous. (Side note: They aren't. And we are still trying to figure out why an attorney would suggest this.)

Then Lisa tries to create a speed-dating event at The Great Escape Room.  Time and time again, Kiman has to explain why this is a very bad idea.

We also ask Kiman about their "On the Run" escape room that they can bring to businesses for corporate events.
