Both funny and informative!
Jesuit’s combo of gleeful fascination and terrified ridicule strikes just the right note for me (a Gen Xer) in dealing with his subject. Which is terrifying and ridiculous.
Here’s a question: I want to know why everyone else in the world, or at least Europe, seems to like our conspiracies best?

Thoughtful, Clever, with Exceptional Depth
I learned about this show from a reference in a “40 year old boy” episode…. and am so glad I did. I appreciate the perfect blend of comical sarcasm and intellectual deep dives on relevant topics.

“ONLY” five stars
I heard there was a way to give a podcast as many as 9 or 10 stars, but government keeps the method under wraps to “keep us safe.” Well, as soon as my uncle the Mason lets in me on the secret, THE PARANOID STRAIN will get many, Many, MANY more stars. You’ll see. You’ll ALL see.

Paranoid Strain is entertaining and informative. Using facts, the hosts make endless jokes about conspiracy theorists. It’s the best!

Great assist
I have close friends that have bought into some of these mindsets presented here and no amount of time spent conversing with them have been useful. Now I got the perfect tool to assist me in this endeavor and it is very fun to listen to as well. Imagine that information and entertainment simultaneously. Not easy to pull off. One of my very favorite podcasts.

FINALLY
Finally a "conspiracy" show actually worth freaking listening to, that actually analyzes and considers why people believe what they believe. Funny enough, I just learned about sovereign citizens the other day and it was interesting to see a full analysis of where such beliefs arise from. Look forward to other topics as a fellow conspiracy hound who doesn't believe in most of them but loves to hear a good one. Also, in terms of sound quality this podcast is top notch.
*Would love an episode on the new Qanon phenomenon, seems ripe for the picking

Fascinating, engaging and innovative
Found out about this gem from The 40 Year Old Boy podcast, and was so happy I did. It’s a topic that could be presented in a dry or overly-earnest or sanctimonious way. This show does a great job of walking the line between all of those impulses. Also, it’s got a few bizarre little touches that command your attention. I was hooked immediately.

Best Paranoid Podcast Ever
The 40 Year Old Boy told me to listen, so I did listen to the first one. I fell in love with Mr Fearful Jesuit's podcast. So now I listen whether Mike tells me to or not. But continue to pay Mike to pimp your show so he quits begging me for money!
Anyway, The Paranoid Strain is a really fun podcast with real information about the various conspiracies around.

Great, great show
I love this podcast and I can't wait for each successive episode. It is exceptionally well written and researched and does a great job of laying bare the beliefs at the core of pervasive and frequently nonsensical conspiracies. I know, I must be one of them.....

Excellent.
This is one of the few podcasts that I can truly get immersed in. Not only is the topic extremely interesting -- how can otherwise sane and intelligent people believe such bullpucky? -- but the host and guests are really entertaining. I get really excited for every new episode, and my only criticism is that they don't come out nearly fast enough!
The topic of conspiracy theories is one that is sorely lacking in the podcast arena, and in the age of Trump and conspiracy theory factories like Breitbart, 4chan, and Reddit, this podcast is an important one for public education.
Keep making these, please!

Killer analysis.
Well researched and while ever so slightly biased against the crazy ideologues, demagogues and unabashedly xenophobic, an interesting and engaging view into the entrenched conspiracies and their effect on the body politic. Found through advertising on the 40 year old boy podcast. Very happy I did.
