I loooove this podcast!!
I’ve listened to every single episode and i absolutely love you guys!! I’ve even been the suggestor of two of your episodes! Waugoshance Lighthouse and most recently Crisp Point!! Crisp Point is my most absolute favorite lighthouse ever!! I found it by accident one day while exploring the old logging roads of Michigans Upper Peninsula! And I’ve been in love ever since! Thank you for creating such entertaining episodes and I hope you keep doing it for a long long time! I love you guys!! :)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Two Hearts, One Beacon–where Vincent & Emily's hearts beat as one for all things lighthouses.
Like a lighthouse, I'm always on the lookout for shows with brandable magic–voice, vibe, and value. The Lighhouse Lowdown delivers all three in spades. Vincent and Emily turn maritime minutiae into must-listen moments: it's smart, hilarious, and unexpectedly moving. Why it works and wins: -Chemistry you not only hear, but feel. Their engaged-couple banter is effortless–light, quick, and genuinely funny. -Deep cuts without the dust. I'll never see a lighthouse the same again. Who knew about the general "L" shape?! -Brandable bits. The lastest "Crisp Point" episode is podcast gold. Their playful back and forth over how hard it is to say "Christopher Crisp's Point" and Vince chimes in, "You know–like saying waspssss" is exactly the kind of repeatable, shareable moment that builds fandom. Bottom line: The Lighthouse Lowdown nails the sweet spot of edu-tainment–equal parts insight and inside jokes (Emily wondering about star-bursts and Vince thinking it's a dance term, like "jazz hands" and sharing Emily's past as a high school "Lightning" Dancer under Texas Friday Night Lights, and now she's a nerd-Her words not mine). Come for the laughs, stay for the legends, and leave seeing every lighthouse in a whole new light.🌊💡 You won't regret liking and subscribing to The Lighthouse Lowdown wherever you get your podcasts.
For the love of…
Great show (not just because I was on it) but because they are truly having fun doing it. They’re not experts and are learning as they’re going, but hey, that’s how we gain knowledge. They don’t take themselves too seriously and convey a show in a very easy, fun listen. If you like lighthouses to any degree, give them a listen, and enjoy.
Love them!
I just finished listening to my first episode form these guys after hearing them on the USLHS podcast and I am definitely going to stick with them. I love how they’re younger, like my age and as into lighthouses as me. I never meet others my age who love lighthouses. And their chemistry and banter back and forth is funny I found myself smiling and laughing out loud with them sometimes. I’d love to visit lighthouses with them! And we need more lighthouse lovers and lighthouse media out there. Keep up the good work! Also, this is my first ever review left on a podcast (and I listen to many) so props to you guys for inspiring me to actually come on and do one!
Proud lighthouse nerd!
I had no idea there was a podcast about lighthouses. I love it! Thank you for such an awesome show!
Didn’t expect to actually find a podcast on this
I’m doing research for a book I want to write that centers around a lighthouse. Hoped to find something to listen to at work and was delighted to find this. I love fun facts and history in general and this is such a great find for me
Adore lighthouses. Adore this podcast.
Need a new podcast to wander with? This is it. I love the history and the mystery of the foggy past. I saw the show talent on a live feed with Mums Mysteries & Murder podcast and they were charming : - ) Written in the morning mists of the Oregon valley 🌲 Ken Volante Host of Something (rather than nothing) Podcast
