The United States had a MASSIVE Victory last night over the Dominican Republic but of course, it came with some controversy. While I agree, it was a ball & that Perdomo should've been awarded a walk...he forgot rule #1 in sports...NEVER LEAVE THE GAME IN THE HANDS OF THE UMPIRES!!
It's a tough pill to swallow for the Dominicans & I empathize with them but Perdomo had a learning expereince earlier in the game that should have influenced his at-bat in the 9th
