The CFP committee has a heck of time trying to figure out who should be slotted into that final spot in the College Football Playoff. Yes, Miami beat Notre Dame back in Week 1 but they only won by 3 & nearly gave up the game allowing ND to almost come back. Notre Dame meanwhile, has been on an absolute tear since their last loss in Week 2 to Texas A&M. CJ Carr looks comfortable as the starting QB & Jeremiah Love has put together an excellent Heisman season. Head to Head Matchups matter but should we put more emphasis on those matchups when they happen later in the year instead of the first couple weeks of the season?
