"Dallas Mavericks: A Season To Forget"

In the beginning, Mavericks fans were cheering, laughing and enjoying 
a solid season. Then... In the middle of a crazy pre trade deadline night, 
superstar Luka Doncic was traded for Anthony Davis. On the heels of 
trying to turn their season around, Davis went down on schedule with an 
injury. Kyrie Irving's season ending with an torn ACL. All the makings, 
screams, yells point to one person: General Manager Nico Harrison.

Fans have screamed to the heavens "Fire Nico," it's reached a breaking 
point. Forward PJ Washington called out the fans to say "we're tired of 
hearing it." Well, I got news for you Mr. Washington, it's never going 
away. Long as Harrison is making these deals, and taking orders from 
atop, nothing will change.

You see, governorship preaches "loyalty" from players; but it doesn't 
pertain to them. You sir, can be traded as well at any given moment. 
This trade had a serious ripple effect on your season. Everyone in the 
media was hyping Dallas is going to win now... Key word: "now." That 
ship sailed and hit an iceberg without warning.
Everyone in the ship is left stranded; trying to find lifeboats in saving 
themselves. Harrison jumped on a lifeboat and sailed away to avoid 
facing the music. In the grand scheme of things, a window of title 
contention is closed for 2025. Davis is headed to the G-League in 
ramping up in hopes of saving your season. I never heard in my life a 
superstar player playing G-League basketball to ramp up from an injury. 
If this were LeBron James, the entire content space would have more 
than enough to throw; but since it's AD, nobody batted an eye. You get 
what you paid for; knowing his injury history was still in doubt. Irving's as

Kidd can only do so much with a shortened roster and guys overplaying
minutes just to compete.

All the blame, animosity, hate, confusion, every emotion points to one
man and this season is sure reminder: You play stupid games, you win
stupid prizes. Mavericks fans, you have every right to be upset. Nico
Harrison is the most disliked man in North Texas right now. When we
look back over this trade in four years, if Luka wins a title in Los Angeles
and Dallas' future is uncertain, Harrison will go down as the "dumbest
sports executive in history."
